This is an event you don’t want to miss! Join the beloved community with uplifting messages in the spirit of Dr. King, great music, heart felt prayers and welcoming fellowship! This year, SCLC Greater Kansas City Chapter and Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council are co-sponsors for the event and it will be hosted Community Christian Church.

The King Center describes beloved community as a global vision in which all people can share in the wealth of the earth. The King Center states the Beloved Community, poverty, hunger and homelessness will not be tolerated because international standards of human decency will not allow it. Racism and all forms of discrimination, bigotry and prejudice will be replaced by an all-inclusive spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood.

The pioneering work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. demonstrated that Kingian Nonviolence (Nonviolence365™) is the sustainable solution to injustice and violence in our world, ultimately leading to the creation of the Beloved Community, where injustice ceases and love prevails.

We look forward to our continued work together and hope to see you Sunday, January 7, 3PM!
