For 47 years you could find Vivien and Roger at their bookstore Rainy Day Books in Fairway, KS. Running the shop and organizing visits, signings and talks by authors from all over the world kept them busy.
Next week you can find them at our Wednesday Night Table where we’ll get to hear about their many years operating a local business and what they’ve been up to since passing the torch and selling Rainy Day Books. 💙

We are doing double-duty tomorrow! We are open for U-Pick blackberries at the farm AND we will be at the City Market! Blackberries will star at both locations. The market will see a great variety of heirloom tomatoes (including cherries), and herbs, both cut and in gallon pots. Plus, a special treat! Helen has created four stunning bouquets that are elegant in their simplicity (and are priced at just $10). Come early for the best selection.
