French Provincial Dresser and Nightstand.
The Orleans Collection, circa 1950's, by Dixon Powdermaker which was considered one of the finest furniture makers of its day.
Both pieces have been painted a creamy white and the hardware is a champagne bronze. All drawers are on wood tracks and slide with ease; the bottom right drawer of the dresser has a divider to separate clothing.
The dresser measures 54" long x 33-1/2" tall x 21" deep and the nightstand is 20" wide x 27" tall x 17" deep.

Up next - a 6-drawer French Provincial dresser and a 1-drawer French Provincial nightstand. They will both be painted a creamy white and the hardware will be a pretty champagne gold color. Stay tuned.

Picked up this foster cutie from RPM today. She’s sleeping a lot. These babies always need to decompress. 🥰

This antique 4-drawer chest is waiting on a makeover. She's pretty banged up but structurally very sound. At one time, it was on wheels so it'll have new ones. I'm debating which color I should use and am contemplating some other looks I've done in the past...vintage duck egg, snow white, creamy white and rose water, a color I haven't used before. And then, do I keep the original hardware (doubt it) or replace it with glass k***s or something different? Thoughts???

Antique Oak Dresser. It has 4 drawers and measures 40" wide x 20" deep x 35" tall. It's been painted a pretty peach/cream color scheme; the inside of the drawers have been painted light gray; it has beautiful butterfly k***s and is on wheels. It's approximately 100 years old.

Finally this little cutie is done. It's been painted a creamy white and has a pretty floral fabric on the seat.

One more small project I'm trying to complete. I bought this midcentury mod chair in February 2022 and it's sat in my garage ever since. I started on it once and didn't like the color so I set it aside. I finally got around to painting it and just need to upholster the seat. It's an odd looking chair but something about it appeals to me. 😁

The sewing table is finished and what an improvement! Once the finish on the top was removed, it showed many stains from the years so I had to give it a dark stained top to hide the stains, a creamy white base and two new blue mercury k***s even though it's a faux drawer. It's going to look perfect in my guest room.

I picked up this old sewing machine table, missing the machine, at my neighbor’s garage sale. It will make a great side table for my guest room. It’s in pretty rough shape but will be beautiful when I’m done.

Sometimes when you foster, an anxious pup can be a little destructive. Sweet Lola got out of her crate which was in my home office and then tried to get out of the room. She chewed the carpet and the pad so it had to be replaced. I guess it was a blessing in disguise because the room looks much better now.😂

I picked up another foster dog today. Lola (brindle pit mix) is going to hang with my boys until it’s time for her to go on transport to Colorado.
