Our Story

Hi, thanks for checking out my work! A little bit about me...my name is Lori Lemke and I am a mom (my #1 job!) to my daughter, Mila (8) and son, Liam (11), and married to my charismatic husband, Dave (who I joke is my 3rd child, if you know Dave you know what I mean! ) I have essentially been an artist my entire life, that was my dream as a child and now here I am. I graduated from UW-Stout with a Bachelor of Fine Art with a concentration in painting (but my studies also included photography, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, art history and metals). Throughout my career I have encountered many different areas that have brought me to where I am today... graphic design, art education, custom framing/design, art history/museum curating....it wasn't until after the birth of my son that I rediscovered a love for photography. I wanted to capture every little moment, because like the old saying goes “they grow up too fast!” I am so glad I did, because in a blink of an eye they are changing and you quickly forget how small they once were. That is why I decided to share my passion with other families.
