Hey all! Riata Therapy Specialists is hiring! We are looking for physical therapy technicians. This is an entry level position. If you or someone you know is interested in PT, athletic training, kinesiology, etc, this is a great way to get experience while getting paid! We are looking for at least 2 part time and 1 full time person at various location. No experience is required but applicants must love people, be excellent multitaskers, and be able to be on their feet for 8-10 hours per day. Please send resumes and letters of interest to [email protected]
Proud of for hitting a PR clean of 86lbs today! The power clean is a difficult lift to learn, but an excellent way to develop power and explosiveness if you’re game for the challenge.
While we don’t recommend cleans for all Masters lifters, it’s a useful skill for those who have the desire to learn and the ability to rack the bar. And they’re fun!
Ashley is a busy mom of 4 but that doesn’t stop her from training! Here she is pulling a casual PR of 210lbs. No sweat. 💪
Ashley’s goal is to be a strong and fit mom, not a powerlifter, so we incorporate a mix of high intensity cardio, strength training, and shaping exercises in her program. Though she doesn’t train for maximal strength, over time she keeps getting stronger!
If you want results your program must get progressively more difficult over time. Setting PR’s is the key, whether it’s weight on the bar, time on the rower, or reps on the chin-up bar.
Good work Ashley!
Thank you to all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. We pray for your families.

crushing his squats today: 230x5x3!
Brad started with us about 8 months ago and has diligently stuck to his training despite some tough setbacks. He has lost over 45lbs, taken 5” off his waist, and increased his squat by over 140lbs. Not to mention he started squatting to a box, and now squats with full range of motion.
Brad accomplished these things with just a barbell and four simple, but hard, exercises. If you show up consistently and do the work, the results will come!
Happy Birthday to Coach D!
Donny crushing squats, 370x5x3! He’s working hard toward the April United States Strengthlifting Federation meet in Wichita Falls.
