Pigeon stretch with external hip rotation. Place one leg in front and across you. Your shin should be perpendicular to your body. Slowly sink down with your chest until you feel a pull in the back of the hip. You can rotate your body towards the leg in front of you to further the stretch. Start to open your back leg towards the sky to externally rotate The hip. Look to do this for 20-30 seconds for 3 sets.

Lunges are unilateral exercises, meaning that they train one side of your body independently from the other. Training one side at a time vastly improves your balance and coordination. Bilateral leg exercises like the squat and deadlift are best for overall strength and muscle building purposes. But they simply can't deliver the balance and stabilization benefits that lunges do. This compound leg exercise is hailed by many as the ultimate lower body "functional" exercise. Although the true definition of a functional exercise is a hotly debated fitness topic, it is essentially an exercise that directly improves your performance of natural, everyday movements. Possibly the best benefit of the lunge exercise is that you can "even out" strength and muscular imbalances by bringing your weak side up to par with your stronger side. Knee Raises Keep your hands at shoulder width apart. Keep a small curl in your legs keeping them together. contract your abs and bring your knees to your chest. Use your Lats to stop you from swinging. Whats your favorite way to work your core? #Health #Fitness #nutrition #grouptraining

Glute Bridge
Start by placing your upper back on an elevated surface. your shoulder blades should be right above the edge. Feet shoulder width apart and feet flat on the ground. Drive your feet into the ground lifting your hips. Stop when your hips are in line with your knee. You should feel your Glutes, Hamstrings, and Core working. Do not use your upper body. Keep shoulders flat on bench. Glute Bridges are a great way to strengthen or Rehabilitate your knees and hamstrings. especially if you have years of accumulation.

Tuesdays Tip: Romanian Deadlift Hinging takes practice! it is a technical skill so it requires coaching and Reps. That are plenty of ways to perform Romanian Deadlifts and truly learn the mechanics SAFELY. You can regress all the way down to a band, PVC Pipe, or even bodyweight. Whatever is necessary for the specific clients needs and abilities. What other exercises do you want tips on? (Please say bench Press 🤣 )

Dynamic Runners stretch.
Instructional: Dynamic Runners Stretch Start in the tall plank position and step your foot forward to the outside of the same side hand. Sink into the hip of the forward leg while keeping back leg straight. Keep your chest up and your weight forward. You should feel a butt and groin stretch on the leg that is forward, and a Hip flexor stretch on the leg that is back.  Do not excessively round your back to keep your chest up, and head looking forward.  What other exercises do you want instruction on?
