Will you be walking around in TALL boots this FALL?
- [ ] Sure thing!
- [ ] No way!
- [ ] Whatever fits my fancy! (or mood)
Personally, I am a whatever fits my fancy or mood kind of gal. These lovely boots came in for stretching in the calf area. Being a snug fitting style these two pairs have zippers for ease of putting on and taking off.
Happy Trails to you!

Wednesday, June 19, 2024, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
In recognition of 2024 being the 175th anniversary year of Tarrant County, the Tarrant County Historical Commission and the Lucretia Council Cochran Chapter (Arlington, TX) of the Daughters of the American Revolution are co-hosting this event with the Atlas group, and including numerous area partners. This year the world-renowned professional videographer Jeremy La Zelle will travel in tandem with the Atlas group to all 48 states and film the events to make a documentary movie.

Johnson Station (which is now part of Arlington), was one of the first settlements in Tarrant County established in the 1840s first by Sam Houston's request as Trading Post No. 1 at Marrow Bone Spring, then a Ranger Station, and Johnson Station Cemetery is one of the early burial sites in our area. The oldest marked grave is that of Elizabeth Robinson, who died on November 15, 1863, but there are a number of unmarked graves that may date to an earlier period. A variety of gravestone styles are found here, marking the final resting places of settlers, veterans of various wars, and charter members of an early masonic lodge and church formerly on the site, where the church bell remains posted.
All 48StateTour events are free and open to the public. The primary goal of this event is educational, with a particular focus on reaching as many historical and preservation groups and individuals as possible.

We are thankful for the “pleasant words” from our clients, community, friends, and family. This little bit of honeycomb sweetness from a fellow artisan is a physical reminder of the kindness and support of others we are grateful for this Thanksgiving and throughout the year.

🇺🇸Honoring Veterans from past and present. My grandfather the son of Italian immigrants humbly served America in the Navy during WWII. He loved his faith, family, friends, and this country. We thank him for being a great role model of virtue and sharing his shoe cobbler artistry with generations. His sons went on to teach and mentor my husband and others that had the desire to learn. We love and miss you, Grandpa. May you Rest In Peace.

🇺🇸This is my namesake and grandfather❤️. Serving in the Army Air Corps in Europe he was shot down multiple times. Legend has it that one of those times required a metal plate be put in his head. As a young boy I threw magnets at my grandfather’s head to test the truth of his story.
We honor his service to America and his hard work and determination to live the American dream providing for his family after WWII. I am sorry my family never met you, Granddad, but they know you’re a legend😉.
