Calendula Infused Body Serum 🌼
This product is a blend of golden jojoba oil, castor oil, vitamin e, ylang ylang, then infused with dried calendula flower to make a serum that will soothe skin & give you a natural glow!
Apply this product to freshly cleaned skin, you may also apply to your hair for added benefits!
Castor oil is the most prominent for its benefits on the skin such as; reducing redness, lightening dark spots & correcting skin tone. Castor oil is also known for its benefits in thickening and strengthening hair, eyelashes, & eyebrows.
Vitamin E is used to thicken this serum up & add in some great benefits such as; healing wounds, scrapes, or cuts on your face & body. It is also known for absorbing UVB rays which helps reduce sun damage on skin.
Golden jojoba oil is most similar to the oils our body naturally produces oils, so this can help hydrate skin without clogging pores. Jojoba can also signal your body to not produce more sebum which helps in regulating your body's oil production, helping reduce acne.
Ylang ylang is a common essential oil that helps tighten & tone skin, while also having benefits of mood enhancing & stress relieving.
Calendula flowers have many benefits for the skin. They are known for wound healing & reducing inflammation. This flower has antibacterial properties, helping fight against dermatitis & acne. Calendula also increases blood flow to skin cells which will reduce the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles, acne scars, etc.

I am checking in with everyone this morning to give them a little backside & personal information so you all have a better understanding as to why things have slowed down a bit.
During my grand opening I had some hurdles in my personal life come about as well, this life event happened at the same time I was trying to open my storefront & has been the main reason for things slowing down as soon as I was trying to get them rolling.
I decided to push through and open those first couple weeks, although it showed me how truly hard it is to do alone and with a baby.
I still have my storefront, just trying to decide set hours that work for myself & the pop up events I'll be at throughout summer. I plan to have set hours this winter once things slow down!

My name is Elyssa & I started Home Gnome Co. in April of 2023. I was expecting my first baby in May & I began making everyday products for my household and this new precious addition to it.
I started in my kitchen doing things very small scale, making batches of 5-10 at a time. I started out in North ID Unique Creations & slowly progressed into getting my own storefront!
I am the sole owner of this shop, I make everything by hand in small batches. I spend lots of time researching products, ingredients, & packaging to ensure everything I produce is superior.
Jensen & I are the main hands on deck for Home Gnome, which is why things have slowed down recently! On top of being the sole care takers of the business & baby you can also find me serving in Prichard or at City Limits!
I still plan on being at as many events as possible this summer! I will keep you posted as they come along!

Good morning Gnomies!!
I am beyond grateful for the love & support we’ve had during our grand opening! I have enjoyed meeting all my customers face to face & being able to engage about my products as well as new possibilities.
With that being said I have noticed that our current building needs an AC unit for me to be open full time this summer. I’d like to take the rest of the month for myself to fine tune my store front so that this summer everything is moving full swing, smoothly.

I haven’t posted much, but I have been working hard for this business behind the scenes! I am currently working on a store front with all of my products as well as a refill station for them & all of my ingredients! This is a long process but things are coming together & my goal is to be open in April!
Grateful for my amazing friend Kayla Ovnicek & her artistic abilities, helping me make this shop come to life with all of the Home Gnome flare. I wish she had a business page but you just have to be her friend to be able to take advantage of her amazing talents!
