Friendly reminder: when you cancel an appointment with your hairdresser or service provider the same day- we are not likely going to fill that spot, and that means we are not getting paid. Cancellation policies are not intended to be rude or greedy. As a self employed person, I am paid per service- not hourly. - so when we get no showed or canceled on - we loose out on income while still paying business expenses. It’s frustrating when that time could have been reserved for someone else.

I would say I’m pretty flexible with it too- emergencies happen, and if you are sick. Please don’t come in.. but otherwise. Please don’t fuss when we have to enforce a cancellation policy. 😅 it sucks for everyone

Moving forward I will have to start implementing a same day cancellation policy for appointments

- 24 hours notice is preferred, but even the night before the appointment will do.
Same Day cancellations and no shows will be charged 50% of the service scheduled.

Did you forget about me?! Because I didn’t forget about you or this page! I’ve actually been obsessing over it, beating myself up for not being as active or as far as I would like to be.

I launched the page in October and it was right after I had a pretty major surgery. I thought I was going to more active in my recovery time and that proved to not the case. So I listened to my body and have been giving it the rest needed to heal.

So better late than never, I’m getting back out there and brewin up some goodness.

Here are a few pictures from the kitchen this week. I’ve been straining out oils and tinctures that have been brewing for months. Looking forward to making some salves and lip balms and Then some!
