We're a family-run apple orchard located in northeastern Indiana. We grow almost 30 varieties of app We make our own, unfiltered apple cider vinegar as well.
We are a family-owned and -operated orchard in northeast Indiana, established in 1969. We grow over 30 different varieties of apples, but also have pears, cherries and peaches, as well as locally-grown vegetables from our garden and others. We sell a number of processed products like apple butter, apple jelly and apple syrup that are made to order with our apples and contain no sugar, preservative

Apple season is in full swing! We currently have:
Redfree (great for making applesauce)
Ginger Gold (sweet with a hint of spice)
Zestar (crunchy and very tasty!)
Prima (crisp and tart!)
Gala (very sweet and crisp)
We also still have tomatoes, onions and sweet corn. And we have pears and plums! Grapes will be picked soon.

Since everyone will ask, Honeycrisp is picked mid-September! Cider is usually pressed for the first time during the last week of September.
Leo wants to wish everyone a happy International Dog Day! We have Redfree and Ginger Gold apples now, as well as melons, tomatoes, onions and sweet corn. And plums were just picked!

Freestone peaches are in! These are the very popular Starfire variety. For those of you who are on the list, we'll be calling soon. Price is $70/bu, $40/half bu.
We also have Pristine apples (very similar to Transparent), sweet corn, wonderful tomatoes and vegetables from Parr Farm and other items, including frozen cider.

PEACHES ARE IN!
We have GlenGlo, a delicious, juicy peach for fresh eating (not freestone, so not good for canning). Available in 5lb boxes for $8.00.
We also have the first tomatoes and onions from Parr Farm, sweet corn from Sweet Corn Charlies ($8.00/doz) and there may be some Shiro Plums this weekend, too.

Everyone is asking about cherries already!
Our normal opening day is June 21st but it will be early this year, given the early spring. We're guessing in the next 5-10 days. It will be posted on the cherry farm page as soon as we know when we can open!

Getting ready for holiday time! We have gift baskets and boxes of apples that make great gifts. Or you can make your own with all of the apples and apple products we carry.
Last day to ship is December 18 for our flat boxes of apples.
We've been getting calls about Pie Pumpkins for Thanksgiving. Not only do we still have some, they're on sale, just $2.00 each! We're also sharing our recipe for fresh pumpkin pie -- so much better than the canned stuff.
NOTE: THESE ARE THE PUMPKINS... you still have to make the pie yourself! Though we are sharing a favorite, easy recipe.

Looking forward to the Apple Festival of Kendallville this weekend! Our apples and cider will be featured by many of the nonprofit groups that fund their important programs throughout the year. So look for the apple dumplings, apple pies, apple fritters, caramel apples and apple cider that these groups are offering!
We will not be at the festival with apples and cider for sale, but will be open at the orchard 8am - 6pm for everyone who wants to stop by -- no need to carry it around the fairgrounds! We also have fall decor like pumpkins, gourds, bittersweet, Indian corn and more.

Fall has arrived! Our pumpkin guy brought the start of this year's harvest. Lots to choose from. We also have winter squash -- butternut and spaghetti -- as well as cushaw.
Jelly makers: we have picked the Concord grapes! $2/lb.
If anyone is interested in crabapples, we are taking orders -- expecting to pick in the next 3-4 days.
Hours are now 8am - 6pm Monday thru Saturday, 1pm - 5pm Sunday.
Peaches are gone, but we have picked the plums and some early pears. The pears are both Patrice (good for fresh eating) AND Bartlett (good for eating & canning). Plums are Stanley (a prune-type good for jam, baking and fresh eating).

The last of the peaches are here! This variety is called Messina -- it's a large, freestone peach with firm, yellow flesh and an excellent flavor. These are going to go quickly!
Redfree have been picked! This early apple is sweet, crunchy and makes amazing applesauce.
We still have peaches, corn, tomatoes, blackberries and more.
We've picked the first apples -- Pristine. This is a great apple for fresh eating (just what you need after a long winter of "store" apples!). For those of you who remember Transparent, it's a lot like that.
We also have sweet corn, tomatoes, canteloupe melons, blackberries and more right now!
PEACHES HAVE ARRIVED!
These are the first Michigan peaches of the season, so are best for fresh eating (they're not freestone). Delicious and juicy this year!
We have 5-lb boxes for $9.00 and half bushels (25 lb) for $40.00. Hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm. And yes, we still have frozen cider.
