Amazing!
Heart cell Cymatics .
"This image shows the ‘cymatics’, or geometric resonance patterns created in heart cells when applying various sounds. In bio-acoustic sound medicine, is taught that sounds are imprinting every cell and science continues to prove this ancient axiom.
Cardiologist Sean Wu, MD, PhD and Utkan Demirci, PhD, an acoustic bio-engineer use acoustics to manipulate heart cells into intricate patterns. A simple change in frequency and amplitude puts the cells in motion, guides them to a new position and holds them in place. Acoustics can create a form that resembles natural cardiac tissue. With sound they can create new tissue to replace parts of damaged hearts. Acoustics can be used in reconstructing other organ tissue and blood vessels.
Sounds are use to create and harmonize, as well as clean and release. Both principles are used in science using high precision acoustical generators. The same principles can be applied safely by individuals using non-invasive, natural harmonic sounds, such as our voices and acoustic instruments."

Can you guess what is arriving on a freight truck next week?!?? We are SO excited!!!! 🧖♀️🧖
We regret to inform you, we can no longer accept anthem insurance as they are not paying without endless disputes. If you choose to cancel your upcoming appointments we totally understand.
Alternatively, we are happy to offer your same appointments at cash a visit value, which many patients already happily utilize, as well as to take HSA and FSA cards. We will then help you send in the claim to have anthem pay you back for your cash visit.
If you have specific questions about how to bill anthem yourself to have them reimburse you for your visit to us, what this means about the timeline for your treatment plan, or if you need a referral to someone who still takes anthem instead, we are here to help you figure out the details of this and will understand your choice in any direction.
Past visits are not effected, so if you have already been seen in the office, those visits will go to Anthem unaffected.
Thank you for understanding and we are so sorry for the sudden change. It was ultimately beyond our control.
Please let us know if you have any questions!
Thank you!
One window done in the new office 🥰
Insurance Payment Update: Attention Anthem Patients;
Some Anthem Insurance plans have been denying code 97140 (manual therapy techniques, such as mobilization and manipulation, manual lymphatic drainage, and manual traction) on various levels since at least 2020 as “not medically necessary.”
When something is deemed “not medically necessary” it basically means that the insurance company sees it as something you are choosing to do like have your eyebrows waxed or teeth whitened. They do not pay for services like that.
We have been aggressively fighting for this coverage for our patients for years now, and have at last decided that for some Anthem plans the battle has been lost, so we can no longer provide that as a service and continue to expect insurance to cover it.
Anthem does not allow us to bill the patient for the code if they do not see it as medically necessary.
The 97140 code has a full cash value of $40 in our office.
As we have been absorbing this cost, and continuing to treat patients using the services of the 97140 code as we observe that most patients get physical benefits from our manual therapy techniques, it has become more and more apparent that we are unable to take this loss.
Our solution is, starting as soon as next week, we will begin looking at your Anthem plans and determining which ones are no longer covering 97140.
We ask that you also look at your EOBs to see if your Anthem plan is paying for 97140 as well.
Those plans that are not covering it, unfortunately, we must remove that service from your visit in the office.
This change will take your appointment time down to a 15 minute slot if your Anthem insurance is not choosing to cover 97140.
This does not mean you will need to reschedule your appointment as you will still come in for your normal adjustment as usual.
Insurance will continue to cover the adjustments that they always have as we have medical necessity MANDATED coverage on joint manipulation for all insurance plans in the State of Maine.
Alternatively, if you really desire the benefits of the manual therapies, you as the patient can choose to have deep tissue treatment added as a “non-covered” service and can pay the cash fee of $40 at the time of service. Your insurance will then pay for the adjustment as it normally does.
Please contact us with any questions. We are here to help you heal and will do our best to treat you with the care and respect that you deserve.
As always, thank you for trusting us with your health 💛💛💛💛
