STATE DAY HOYAS!!
Good luck to our state swimmers competing today! We are so proud!
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - Cameron Carland
4 year swimmer 50 free and 100 free.
Cameron began swimming in 5th grade for the YMCA and Brookstone Barracudas. In 8th grade he started playing football which took a lot of his time, so he only swam with Harrison half of each season. His junior year he made state after only practicing half of the season and participating in only 4 meets. Due to a severe football injury the beginning of his senior year, he missed even more of this swim season. Despite short seasons it’s been a great four years of swimming with the Hoyas. Cameron will be attending Georgia College State University in the Fall to study Biology with plans to complete Chiropractic school.
Thanks for a great 4 years as a Hoya!!
Congrats to Kayla for signing today! We’re so proud!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - Parker Wilson
4 Year Senior, 50 Free 100 Breaststroke
Parker started swimming at age 6 for the West Hampton Sharks. He's never taken a summer off and has barely missed a practice in High School. He's always shown up to the pool giving his absolute commitment to the team. Parker has not committed to a college yet, but he's leaning towards the University of Tennessee with a major in BioSystems Engineering. He will finish as a Senior in Harrison's STEM program and with the discipline he's shown with both swim and STEM he is prepared for whatever the future holds for him!
A great 4 years as a Hoya!!
SENIOR SPOTLIGHT - Ellie Fallbacher
500 Free 100 Back
Ellie started swimming competitively when she was just 5 years old. She has been extremely dedicated to the sport, swimming both short course and long course every year since 2011. Moving to Georgia her sophomore year, she was thrilled to find a wonderful group of friends on both the Ace and Harrison swim teams. She loves the 1650, but when it comes to high school meets, she alternates between the 500 free and 100 back. While undecided on college, she plans to major in English and has already published two books. She loves her little siblings more than anything, and you can often find her taking her 3 year old sister, Ruthie, out on “sissy dates” around town! She’s so thankful for everything the sport of swimming has taught her, and has loved getting to be a captain this year.
Congrats Ellie! You're a great Hoya!
