If you're looking for a way to make an impact as a student, we've got you! The Department of Student Volunteerism and Service has numerous opportunities throughout the school year that allow students to make friends, connect with the community, and make a difference. Hoo serves? Owls serve!

Get ready for an awesome summer volunteer opportunity that counts towards our summer bingo giveaway! Join us at Cherokee Gardens June 27 from 10AM to 1PM for helping out the master gardeners with weeding and laying mulch. Make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bring sunscreen and bug spray!

Have extra plastic bags you're thinking of throwing away? Give them to SVS! We are collecting plastic bags to be used for a service project and would be more than happy to take yours. Drop off bags May 28 - July 1, Monday - Friday, 10AM to 2PM, at the KSU Center West Entrance at the office of the Department of Student Volunteerism and Service.

Looking for a fulfilling paid opportunity that allows you to connect with and help the community? Our AmeriCorps Service Fellowship is just what you need! Get hands-on experience helping with a local nonprofit, receive service hours, and make connections within our community. The application can be found on Owl Life and at the link in our bio, and it will be open until July 1.

Its already been over a month since our amazing volunteer week, Days of Service! We were happy to help mobilize around 500 students who served in their community in a number of ways. Thank you to all who participated!
