Our Pride employee resource group recently organized an enlightening and impactful presentation on the "Language of Gender." We were honored to have Juli Grey-Owens, Executive Director and founder of Gender Equality New York (GENY), as our special guest on this call.

A heartfelt thank you to CoWorx Pride Council members, Alex Lidberg, Rocco Reyes, and Brandon Sinner, and to Juli, for creating this incredible opportunity for us to learn and grow together.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Deriving its name from combining "June" and "nineteenth", it is celebrated on the anniversary of the order, issued by Major General Gordon Granger on June 19, 1865, proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas. Originating in Galveston, Juneteenth has since been observed annually in various parts of the United States, often broadly celebrating African-American culture. The day was first recognized as a federal holiday in 2021. To help celebrate, enrich, and educate, our Black Employee Network resource group, put together a special presentation to talk about the history and rich cultural traditions of Juneteenth.

In honor of Women’s History Month, let’s talk progress for women in business.

Over the past decade, reports have consistently highlighted a striking trend: at S&P 500 companies, you could find more CEOs named John or Jon than total females in the same position. In 2023, this trend was reversed! Finally, female CEOs outnumber men named John or Jon in the chief executive position in top publicly traded companies.

This shift marks a significant advancement in workplace diversity and inclusion among leaders. But while this progress is fantastic to see, its recency underscores the ongoing need to empower women across all industries. Here’s to our continued commitment to fostering environments of true inclusivity for women leaders.

In honor of , our Latin American Employee Resource Group (ERG) hosted an unforgettable virtual event that truly resonated with the essence of Hispanic culture and heritage.

We traveled through time and culture, as the talented group, La Candela Flamenco, led us on a passionate journey through the rich tapestry of the Spanish art form known as "Flamenco." From the rhythmic footwork to the soulful strumming of the guitar, each moment was a vivid celebration of Hispanic heritage, a testament to the depth and vibrancy of the culture.

A heartfelt thank you to La Candela Flamenco for gracing us with their talent. Axcess is proud to support events like these that remind us of the importance of embracing and celebrating diverse cultures. From September 15 to October 15, we honor the rich histories, vibrant cultures, and invaluable contributions of our fellow American citizens with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central, and South America.

This is one of our favorite weeks of the year. National Staffing Employee Week gives us the chance to show off our wonderful Field Talent and our teams that support them. All year long, our teams across the country do everything in their power to make sure you, our Field Talent, feel valued and fulfilled.

Our teams host barbeques, picnics, ice cream socials, bring ice pops to give out when it’s hot, they organize food pantries, back-to-school giveaways and raffles. They stop by with chocolate chip cookies or bags of chips – all to make sure that you feel supported.

As the Quality Checker you will perform internal audits of the manufacturing process and supporting departments, as well as verify the implementation of ISO policies and procedures described in the documented quality system. Take direction from cell captains and supervisors Perform random, in-process auditing designated by the Quality Manager/Supervisor or lead; assist with follow-up on quality-related problems Inspect finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, assemblies and test products for conformance to company standards; check to ensure corrective action is being taken on failed lots Assume responsibility of the process being audited and communicate with supervisors, managers, leads and cell captains to resolve lot non-conformances or other related quality issues Analyze, resolve and communicate work problems to supervisor, and assist coworkers in solving problems; document audit findings and records in quality database system Train and interpret process procedures/work instructions/quality bulletins with departments being audited and provide input on changes and/or updates to work instructions/procedures Participate in special projects, such as auditing, training other departments or inspecting, and provide reports to management on findings.

Responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of all Powered Industrial

Equipment to include sit down forklift, order picker, electric pallet jack, reach and cherry

picker to push, pull, life stack or move the product within the facility. Usage of the RF

gun and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all functions. Other duties may be

assigned, as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Complete a daily Pre-Shift and Post-Shift Inspection Checklist.

• Move product within the facility to include loading/unloading of trailers, as

required; pick product and prepare for shipment; palletize product for shipment;

put away product to the proper location; perform inbound receiving process;

move product from staged area into inventory; move product from static

locations to pick faces and perform inventory on stored product, as required.

Initiate action to reconcile discrepancies in inventory.

• Ability to utilize RF gun.

• Utilize cutting equipment to remove stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and excess string.

• Removes strapping and places product in staging area.

• Demonstrates an understanding of New Breed quality policy.

• Adheres to the New Breed 7S program and maintains a clean environment at all

times.

• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices

and following safety practices.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objectives.

• Commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of

the process.

• Communicates well with leadership, Team members and other departments.

• Ability to tolerate hot/cold warehouse work environment.

• Ability to safely and efficiently operate and be certified on all PIT equipment, as

required.
