Carrier Update - !!!

Progressive Commercial Insurance is NO LONGER offering new quotes on NEMT for business auto, effective 8/29/2023. This means that we would have to pivot to our other options - do not worry, we can still help you!!

They are also in discussion that NON-Renewals will start in Jan 2024 so if you have a Progressive NEMT policy in GA, call us TODAY so we can get you on the schedule for the new policy.

BEST NEWS - Our other carriers does NOT have any restrictions on age of the vans (like Progressive required the vans/autos to be no older than 15 years old); They do not restrict work so if you expand into those jobs, you will be compliant.

The insurance industry is changing are right now. We have gotten notice that insurance companies have a restriction on new business for most of the remainder of the year in Georgia!

If the customer is looking to purchase a resale home in Georgia, the insurance companies will send an inspector either Pre-Bind or Post-Bind out to the house. If the roof looks like either of the pictures attached, they more than likely will cancel the policy and the buyer will be scrambling for insurance or paying a much higher premium. If the home is over 30 - 40 years old the inspectors and underwriters want to know if the electrical, plumbing, roof, HVAC, has been updated. Is this mentioned in the listing, do you have a copy of the home inspection to upload for them to review? We can still get the deals done in most cases but we may have to make some tweaks to the quote to meet the insurance requirements.
If the breaker box looks like a Tom and Jerry cartoon we cannot insure the property.
If the roof looks like Poltergeist screaming Carol Anne it will be rejected.
Most carriers do not like gray poly plumbing.
If you know this use your negotiation powers to make concessions for the clients. I get "oh the inspector said the roof is good" replies a lot. Home Inspector approval is different from insurance inspector approval and they are looking for reasons not to insure a house for 2 months and pay $15,000 for a new roof. Again just an PSA and reality in this current market.
