At The Goddard School® of The Goddard School - Kennesaw, we love seeing all of the creative lunches your children bring to School. We also know that packing lunch can be tedious for many reasons. Make it a little more fun with these great lunch hacks for busy families!
🍎 Freeze foods like yogurt, apple sauce pouches and juice boxes ahead of time. They’ll thaw in time for lunch!
🍎 Use cupcake liners to separate food in lunch boxes.
🍎 Make your own crustless sandwiches with a mason jar, round cookie cutter or crimper.
🍎 Place plastic wrap over foods that may leak, like watermelon or salad dressing, in a bento-style lunch box.
🍎 Slice a slit into a banana to help your child peel it easier. Don’t slice too much because you don’t want it to brown. Extra credit: Write a cute note or draw a silly face on the banana peel with edible markers or a toothpick!

Children experience all the same emotions as adults, but they aren’t yet equipped with the tools to handle those feelings. The first step toward understanding their big feelings is helping them learn how to recognize and name their emotions. At The Goddard School - Kennesaw we like asking open-ended questions like “What is something that makes you happy or sad?” or “Can you show me what face you make when you are happy, sad or angry?” This gives children the opportunity to share their emotions and show what they know about them. This exercise had Goddard students using emojis to identify each emotion in honor of World Emoji Day. 😊😕😆😥😴 Give it a try with your little one!

Today was an exciting day at our school! We had a special visit from ‘The Techie Kids’ who brought robotics, engineering, teamwork, and art to life for our students. The kids were completely absorbed and had an absolute blast learning through hands-on activities. Thank you, Techie Kids, for inspiring our young minds and sparking a love for STEM and creativity!

Splish, splash, we had a blast! Water Day was a huge hit at Goddard School at Kennesaw. Our little ones had an absolute blast cooling off and having fun in the sun with their friends. Water tables, sensory play, and sprinklers galore - we made the most of this beautiful day! Nothing beats the joy of childhood summers

The Goddard School of Alexandria (Old Town), VA, is now open! Congratulations to owners Akhil and Madhu Govil. This is the fourth location for the co-owners, who also own The Goddard School of Ashburn, The Goddard School of Ashburn Leesburg, and The Goddard School of Waldorf.
As owners & grandparents, their goal is to continue to provide a foundation of learning to all the young children in Alexandria who are the beacon of the great future. They are excited for the opportunity and look forward to serving the Old Town Alexandria community.
