Hello Everyone! COVID-19 UPDATE 5/12/20
PLEASE READ IF YOU HAVE AN UPCOMING APPOINTMENT
As you know, we have been open every day for emergency and urgent care patients.
We are now in the process of rescheduling all comprehensive eye examinations that were deferred between 3/25/20 and 4/30/20. We appreciate your patience with us as we reschedule the appointments in the order they were cancelled and/or based on medical necessity.
We have always maintained strict sanitizing protocols in the office and in-between patients but have added some new guidelines in order to maintain the health of our patients, staff, and doctor.
1. We will schedule such that one patient is in the office at a time. Please come ALONE to your appointment (exception for minors with 1 parent/ guardian and special needs caregivers).
2. We ask that all patients and staff wear a mask inside the office.
3. Please arrive at your appointment on time. If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time.
4. If you have had contact with anyone with COVID-19 or are yourself experiencing, fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, loss of smell/taste or other flu like symptoms, we ask that you cancel your visit and seek medical attention.
5. Please maintain social distancing when possible while in the office.
6. All eyeglass frames tried on will be individually sanitized.
7. If you need your glasses repaired or tightened, please call us beforehand. Optical visits and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses will occur curbside in order to limit the number of people in the office.
8. Contact lens orders of 2 or more boxes can now be shipped to your home for free.
9. New Patients: please fill out intake forms prior to arrival. They are available at www.ayerseyecare.com under “Patient Forms and Info.”
Some of you may already know, we have expanded our office to double the size. Things may look a little different when you return! Preview below. We look forward to seeing you. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Stay well,
Dr. Ayers
