Officer Application
We are still looking for officers to help us out this coming spring semester. The spots that need to be filled are as follows: Vice President: This position will help our president with filling out forms that are needed to put on our events, they might be asked to lead some of the meetings we have throughout the semester, and they will also be asked to help with organizing meetings and events. Event Planner: This position will reach out to the university to book rooms for our events, fill out the paperwork needed for the events the club is putting on, and then get the supplies we might need for the events you plan. Treasurer: This position will be in charge of the money we make from member fees and other activities where we make money like fundraisers or raffles, and they will be working with the event planner to make the budget for our events. Our next d/Deaf and HOH business we want to highlight is @eden.and.clay. Throughout the post you will learn more about Eden + Clay, how it got its start, the amazing woman behind the business, and even more! [ID PAGE 1] The first slide has 9 boxes, 3 across and 3 down. In the first box it is light pink with white writing that says "Established in 2022”. The box to the left is a product, a pair of earrings that are sage green with a palm leaf on them and gold hammered bars above the pendant. The last box is another product, three pairs of earrings in the shape of flowers, one is mustard yellow, pink, and then dark teal. In the second row, six earrings that are in the “I love you” handshake in the colors; lavender, pearl black, pearl pink, bubblegum pink, wine red, and candy red. The middle box is a dark pink color with Eden + Clay written in white. In the last box is a product, six earrings that are oblong shaped with a frame in the colors; lavender, pearl black, bubblegum pink, pearl pink, candy red, and wine red. In the last row, the first product is a pair of earrings that are oblong and mustard yellow with sunflowers stamped into them and painted gold, there are some jewels hanging above the pendant. The second product is a pair of earrings a soft square dangle with a painted botanical design in brick red. Studded with a matching smaller soft square. The second d/Deaf and HOH business we want to highlight is Hotsy Totsy Haus. The second product is a jar of sugar scrub called “Beach Bunny Glow” The scrub is a golden brown color. Over the summer ASL Club has been thinking of ways to keep active with our community and one idea that came to mind is supporting those d/Deaf and HOH businesses. Our page will be highlighting different businesses throughout the next month or so! First off is the lovely business Love, Ashlee Rose! Throughout the post, you will get to learn about the business and how it came about! Love, Ashlee Rose is an amazing business that you should definitely check out!
