Opening night off week 2! You don’t want to miss this show!!!
The award-winning drama department at Kentridge High School is back strong this spring with a musical production of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, that is sure to provide an enjoyable evening of live theater. The show is based on the real-life story of Frank Abagnale Jr. and is told from the perspective of the teenager who led the FBI on quite a chase, cashing fraudulent checks, posing as a doctor, lawyer and Pan Am pilot. Set in the mid 1960’s, we know you will enjoy this great story and outstanding singing and dancing.
Students involved in the arts have taken quite a hit over the past two years and our talented seniors missed out on two years of performance opportunities. We hope you will come and support them and other high school performers by attending productions this spring. We need you back in force to send a positive message to our youth and the community.
This production is rated PG-13 for mature subject matter and language.
The show will run from April 27th-April 30th and May 4th-7th at 7:00 PM with an additional 1:30 PM matinee each Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students with ASB and Senior Citizens. Tickets can be purchased starting April 8th at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/63268
The show is at the Kentridge Performing Arts Center, 12430 SE 208th St. Kent, WA 98031. Masks are not required to attend this production.
We hope to see you at the show! Come early for a hotdog and drink and take a look at the bios of our actors in the lobby. Need more information? Contact Jennifer Grajewski, the director, at 253-653-2626

For the past 17 years, since we have been at Kentridge we have produced a quality musical theatre production for our community. 2020 was the first spring with no production. We as an artistic community decided that we would change that regardless of COVID. Earlier this fall this amazing production team in partnership with At the Ridge Theatre presented LARAMIE PROJECT. We have now brought Qui Nguyen's brilliant play SHE KILLS MONSTERS to life. It is present day, Athens, Ohio. Characters are on JENNI (ZOOM) and doing life, they are also masked and living through COVID. The team of Jennifer Grajewski (Director), Emilio Miguel Torres (Cinematographer/Editor), Brielle Hawkes (Production Designer), Maggie Barry (Assistant Director), Blake Rizzo (Special Effects) and Emily Christine Boyer (Stage Manager) have worked with this amazing cast to produce MAGIC! You need to see this!
TICKETS GO ON SALE THIS SATURDAY, 4/24 at Noon!
It is an ON DEMAND SHOW which means you buy a ticket and you can watch the movie whenever you want. Once you start the film you have 48 hours to finish it. It will be run May 7th- May 22nd. PLEASE SUPPORT THE ARTS!
We are getting closer to our May 7th opening of SHE KILLS MONSTERS! One more day of filming and one day of working on audio with the kids to get clean voices since we have recorded so much with masks on. Here are a few more shots of my amazing kids and our production team's work. Michael Calandra as Ronnie/Orcus and Keyarra Mamon as Lily/Lilith I can't wait for you all to see this!
We are getting closer to the premiere of SHE KILLS MONSTERS VIRTUAL REALMS and you are going to be blown away by what these talented kids and my oh so talented production team are putting together!
One concept I wanted to explore was taking the D & D that Agnes plays with Chuck, to become "Game of Thrones" real. The importance of the power of the mind and the need to connect and understand her sister who died. SO all of it was filmed outdoors, with masks incorporated into costumes.
You met Alexandra Castagna as Agnes first, now I want you to meet Kalliope, Kelly (who has CP in real life) and is a warrior in her D & D role. This character is played by a talented freshman,, Taylor Stendera!
