Guitar Lessons! Baby Grand has openings for guitar/ukulele lessons in High Point and Kernersville. Message me for more info!

Baby Grand just had two spots for piano lessons with Mrs. Raegan open up in High Point! Typically, all of our spots are filled at this point, but these spots just became available. I’m sure they won’t be open for long!

These are prime-time spots on Tuesdays at 4:00 and 4:30. If you’re interested, please let me know ASAP so I can snag them for you!

Meet our new guitar teacher, Mackenzie Welborn! Mackenzie has been playing guitar and singing for over twelve years and has been performing locally in various venues since she was 9 years old. For the last few years, she has been perfecting her craft and has focused on learning and understanding music theory and how it applies to music as a whole.

She has mentored younger musicians in the past on various aspects of playing guitar and has a genuine love for and desire to teach children. In the fall of 2024, she will be attending UNCG studying both education and music with the hopes to be a music teacher.

If you are interested in having your student join Mackenzie for guitar lessons, she will be teaching this summer in Kernersville on Thursdays and HPCA on Fridays. Please let us know and we will get lessons scheduled for you!

Recital Day!! 5 recitals and almost 100 students!! We use this time to give back and this year we collected food for the Helping Hands Ministry which feeds over 500 families a week!

So thankful for my teachers, Michelle and Raegan. Huge shout out to Community Bible Church for providing an incredible space for my recital.

2023 HPCA Summer Specialty Camp Registration Speciality Camps are NON-REFUNDABLE for those who notify the school less than two weeks prior to the camp date of any changes needed! Not all camps offer t-shirts.

So grateful to turn our recital performances this year into a charitable event! It turned out great and we were so pleased to deliver so many necessities to such a wonderful program!

And I even was able to speak with the grandmother of a former student that I started teaching many years ago back when she was 2 years old! She’s now 19! I love those types of moments!! 💕🎶

We want to thank Baby Grand Music Instruction for collecting much-needed Diapers, Pull-ups, Wipes, and Formulas at their end-of-year recital. They also raised over $300 for us as well. Thank you for supporting us as we do our best to support our shared community!

This summer’s MUSIC CAMP portion will include all types of music play, music education, music and movement, music performance, and music exploration! We will use rhythm instruments, pitched instruments, boom whackers, bucket drums, scarves and streamers, our voices, our bodies and much more to make music. We will also learn the basic foundations of music education to help us not only play music, but to help us understand what we are playing. It’s a going to be a lot of fun! (Shhh! We won’t tell them that they are learning at the same time! 😉)

Students of all musical levels are welcome!

We will choose 2 activities to share with friends and family and the other campers at the end of the week.

Pair this camp with another art camp during the week in June and then come back and check out the other two camps in July!
