Just got home from playing at Bold Republic Brewing Company...cracked open one of their brews, Brisky Business...and am sittin' here thinkin' about what an excellent night of blues it was...folks was drinkin'...dancin' and even throwin' axes...big shout out to my good friend James Gettys and his wife Lisa for hangin' out with us! Thank you Bold Republic Brewing Company for having us!

Had a fun time last night at Schoepf’s BBQ in Belton, Tx! If you like awesome food, do yourself a favor and stop by there!

My good buddy, Scott Taylor stopped by and I had to get him up to play and he delivered some serious blues!

So this weekend in Belton, Tx was the annual Belton Bacon, Blues and Brews event...I met and got to hang out with one of the groups that performed at the event...Blue Louie...super cool guy and super cool band...I wish I could have seen their performance...they stopped by Bold Republic Brewing and caught some of my show...thank you Blue Louie!

So now for the brews...just so happened we were playing at Bold Republic Brewing Company...they brew some great tasting beers...if you like craft beers, they have the most flavorful beers I have ever had...stop by and get some!

Now for the bacon...the only bacon had tonight was "saved bacon"...yep...had a scheduling conflict that left me a man shy of a three piece blues trio...but...a quick call to the only guy in town who could throw down some blues and we were golden! James Gettys...you Sir, saved our bacon! Thank you Amigo, it was a blast!

Got a couple guitars I just finished building…can’t wait to play them both tonight at Bold Republic Brewing in the heart of Belton Tx…kicking off the show at 6pm!

We had an absolute blast last night bringing the blues to Schoepf’s Front Porch! Lots of folks came for the BBQ and stayed for some blues! Thank you all for hanging out with us! Huge thanks to Ronnie and Stacy Schoepf for having us! Special thanks to Jason, you kick ass man!

We had a fun time at G&B Saloon last night! I met a brother Marine, "Pops", he jumped up and sang some blues with me, it great! Semper Fi Pops!

Had an absolute great time yesterday at The Bend General Store! Looking forward to playing there again! There were some interesting characters hanging out with us...the rooster...some hens...and a one point a large bullfrog hopped along the front of the stage....hahaha! We brought the blues to Copperas Cove last night, thank you G&B Saloon for having us!

Next up, Pier 7 in Killeen will be getting a dose of blues...Saturday Aug 7th from 6-10pm!

It's Blues Time! Tonight we are at DeadFish Grill from 8-10pm and tomorrow night we are at G&B Saloon from 9pm-1am!

Here we go ya'll...so happy to get to do a show with a very talented young blues guitar player, Xavier Shannon! Dusty Hill, you were the baddest cat on a four string bass and you had some ferocious vocal chops. You leave behind an amazing musical legacy. Rest in peace!
