Was sitting here waiting on my food and pondering my third interview tomorrow.

My grandpa is with me. I was reminded of the song below..Cruisin in corpus with the windows down in my grandpas maroon Monte Carlo with my grandma Lupe in the front working on a crossword puzzle. Wind blowing through my hair. He turns it up.

“Hey, belly (inside joke and nickname) you like this song”? I look up and smile at the man that made me feel like anything was possible and encouraged my giftings of singing and music..

I know I have tomorrow, hands down.

The light is shining in the dark for this Quintanilla- Salinas- Cabrera- Cranfill, mexicAN.
