Our oldest stallion, Mr. Scotty, and our young guy Moseby playing together in the paddock this morning🥹 Mr. Scotty never liked turn out time, we’d be lucky if he lasted an hour or two outside but now that we found him a friend he stayed outside all day! He was so tired from his day out, he fell asleep on his hay feeder this evening😴❤️

Tap To Win is a 2020 thoroughbred mare, standing 15.2hh. We just got this girl home and she’s in need of some groceries but she’s gaining weight nicely and is such a sweetheart. Winnie is lovely to work with, stands in the crossties for hours to get fussed over. She loads/clips/ties and bathes perfectly. She retired sound, she’s just way too slow to put back into race training. Winnie would make someone a lovely winter project. Could go in any direction! No vices. We purchased her as a broodmare and although her foals are stunning, they would rather be hunters than racehorses. Bella Nina is a 2015 thoroughbred mare standing a solid 16.3hh. Bella is a lovely girl and wonderful to work with. She stands well for the vet/farrier and will let you fuss over her all day. She IS sound but does have big ankles, which we do not have X-rays on. Sugar is a (approximately) 9 year old mini mare. She came to us from what we are assuming was a bad situation. She is quite shy and timid until she gets to know you. So due to this I am saying she is not suitable at this time for a child. She is a very sweet girl, just takes her a while to gain your trust. She is UTD on everything (farrier/deworming). Sugar currently lives inside and has no vices. She’s a very easy keeper, gets 1 handful of senior a day with a scoop of milk thistle powder and a couple flakes of hay. She crossties and bathes pretty quietly and is decent for the farrier. No nasty behaviour is just nervous. She is looking for a new home as we just aren’t set up here to have a pony, and she really deserves to have her own person that has more time for her than we do. Our paddocks are much too big for her and we are a very busy operation, so she just isn’t getting enough one on one attention she deserves. San Nicola Breeze is a 2012 thoroughbred mare, standing a big 16.3hh with a lovely, thick build. Nikki has been restarted from the track. She w/t/c and jumps a small course and is great to ride. Nikki has had a couple years off to be a broodmare so would need a small refresher, but I imagine she’d come around quickly. She does have a small cloudy spot in her one eye but it doesn’t affect her vision. PPE’s are more than welcomed! Regarding last night’s tragic event,

We are saddened by the loss of life, both human and equine, last night after a field of horses from the back of the property got loose from their pasture. Bruno, his immediate family and all of the Select Stud staff sends their deepest condolences to the victim and their family. Bruno is thankful for all the help he received from his staff, fellow colleagues, professional shippers and York Region Police for helping to secure the horses.
