Janet serves as an Assistant Director of the FFAM for District 1. Also joining us is Tracy Gray from Fulton Missouri. Tracy is recently retired from the Columbia Fire Department. He also works as the Special Programs Coordinator for MU FRTI. He has been the honor guard commander for the past few years as well at our memorial services. Welcome to the board!

WOOHOOO! This is the results of months of hard work by Jeff Strawn and his fabulous team. The Missouri Fire Service Charity BBQ Smoke-Out 2022 was a huge success! Both the Museum Project and Firefighter Cancer Support Network benefitted from this charity. Thank you all!!
Every October, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation sponsors the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, the official national tribute to those firefighters who died in the line of duty during the previous year. In 2017, the Foundation created Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters to recognize the 25th anniversary of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. Since then, Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters has expanded to include fire departments and families lighting their homes in red.
As dusk turns to dark, landmarks, homes, fire service organizations, and businesses across the country will again glow in respect from October 2 – 9, 2022, to the fallen and their families.
Its a beautuful day for a BBQ competition! Come on out and join us!

About the Project
The Fire Fighters Memorial is located in Kingdom City, Missouri and is dedicated to and honors those who have fallen in the line of duty. There are many who are recognized on the Wall of Honor and this beautiful site shows our gratitude to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Our Efforts to Complete the Memorial Continues
Although the Memorial is in use, funds are still being collected to pay for and maintain the site. The Fire Fighters Memorial Foundation of Missouri is also calling on the Missouri fire service to help in the effort to construct the Educational and Historical Preservation Center alongside the Memorial.
