Back in the hunt this weekend
God bless all the cooks with safe travels and a great weekend with awesome people.

Well 1st comp without my right hand Sara and 1st comp in 3 years with out Sisters BBQ Competition Team there were missed by everyone. We still went in and represented for them 6th in dessert and 2nd in Burgers. Took 6th in Steak so all round great weekend. On to Utah next weekend. On that Golden Steak Ticket Hunt.

10hrs driving and finally made it to Montrose CO for the Steak Cookoff Association event tomorrow. Missing our better half's Sisters BBQ Competition Team but we will represent and make them proud. God bless and may all the teams have safe travels.

Sisters BBQ Competition Team and Maverick Barbecue are packed up and ready to head to Utah see yall Saturday

I wanna thank FlashOver Graphics for doing a speed order on my shirt and hat so I could have it for this weekend. So happy with how it came out and love the customer service down there. Check them out and support local businesses.

We booked our 1st catering gig small party 35 people. We did 10 racks of spare ribs 8 prime tri tip Mac and Cheese, chili and Corn Bread.. As a thank you we threw in some of Little sister Lyla Joe from Sisters BBQ Competition Team famous banana pudding. Big Sister Scarlett helped me prep and trim Ribs and tri tip. Sara was once again an amazing prep chef getting all the details handled while we did the meat. Overall success and look forward to the next one.

God is good. Feeling blessed for the opportunity to chase a dream.

Welcome to Maverick Barbecue follow us on our journey from empty trailer to the newest BBQ food trailer in Kingman Arizona. We also will be traveling doing bbq competitions all over the west coast.
