Today was a bittersweet day for the Holston Habitat family: Steve's last day as our Construction Manager. ๐Ÿ˜ข

For more than 10 years, Steve has represented our affiliate, and the Habitat mission, so well. Throughout his time as our Construction Manager, Steve treated staff members, volunteers and homeowners with kindness and compassion, and was always dreaming up the next innovative way to build or repair a house. He has ushered over 100 families into new homes - how incredible! We are forever grateful for his time spent with Holston Habitat, and we wish him all the best as he steps into this exciting next chapter of retirement! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿฆ‡ Happy Halloween! ๐Ÿฆ‡

Looking for a last minute costume idea? Take a page out of Ghosty's book and be a Holston Habitat Construction Volunteer! Ghosty's costume includes a construction hardhat (in Habitat's signature blue), a hammer (although you can substitute a different tool), a name tag so other volunteers can recognize him, and a bucket for treats!

P.S. Want to know the coolest part about being a construction volunteer? You don't have to wait until Halloween to be one. Just visit our website to learn more about how to be a construction volunteer: www.holstonhabitat.org/volunteer.
