ART QUILTING WITH KRISTY
Are you hungry for a safe chance to push your quilting limits? There is no finish line. What matters is that things are moving, that you are learning and growing. Kristy will guide you to turn your fear into creativity.

This class has no predictable outcome, only visual direction from your heart. Let the fun begin! Quilt for the excitement and pure joy it brings. Wake up excited to create, connect, and to play!

MATERIALS LIST

Sewing machine, oiled and with a new needle

Rotary cutter, cutting mat, 6"x24" ruler (smaller rulers are helpful, too)

Grey thread

6.5 square ruler

Scissors for cutting thread

Sewing shears

Ironing mat/board and iron

Compass or cup to draw around to make circles

Marking pen or pencil

Pack of crayons if you have them

Old buttons, beads, junk jewelry, embroidery thread and needle, etc. etc.

Beginning Sewing/Quilting Camp
This will be a 4 day sewing and machine embroidery camp. You will be supplied with a brand new Brother Sewing/Embroidery machine and you will be making several projects in the 4 days. Everything will be included to make each project along with the sewing notions that you will take home with your new machine.

You will learn basic beginning sewing starting with how to operate your machine, along with basic sewing skills and you will also learn beginning machine embroidery. We will be customizing your projects with name, initials, designs, etc.

Journal Cover
Key Fob
Bowl Cozy
Pillow cover
Book Mark
Snap Pouch

Some projects will be sewing and then you'll have machine embroidery projects and combination projects

The class is limited to 6 students so sign up early

Kimberbell Day at the Spa Event is April 27, 2024. The deadline to register is April 15, 2024 so that we have time to get the kits in. Everything will be provided except Thread and the thread colors can be found on the class details, these projects are made in the 5X7 and 6X10 hoops.. We will start at 9:00 A.M.
