Details:
There is a mystique behind the process by which an artist creates a work of art from a blank canvas. Painting demonstrations abound online, while the inner thoughts and inherent behaviors of the artist at work remain shrouded in mystery.

Artist Anne Sanger, also the creative director behind Pinkwater Gallery in Uptown Kingston, will be offering a public painting event at the Senate Garage, in collaboration with CoWork Kingston, in an effort to allow some light to shine in on the artistic process. She will be engaged in the creation of a large new work on site, culminating with an artist talk on March 23 at 6PM.
