Ulster Chamber Music Series
Thank you for supporting over 50 years of beautiful chamber music. UCMS has sadly dissolved.
Memories!
During this evening's Virtual Concert Series installment, our very own Randall Fleischer will be sitting in to chat live on YouTube while the concert takes place. See you all at youtube.com/bardavonpresents at 7:45 tonight.
Randall Craig Fleischer became the third Music Director of the HVP during the orchestra's 1992 season, its thirty-third year. Under the leadership of Maestro Fleischer, the orchestra evolved into one of the region's major performing arts and educational assets.

It will be sunny, so invite your honey to come to the show!
Sunday, April 22 3pm @ Redeemer Lutheran Church. Ulster Chamber Music Series presents NEXUS PERCUSSION made up of four master percussionists internationally revered for virtuosity, innovation and extraordinary music out of the broadest array of percussion instruments imaginable. Their original compositions and arrangements, high-end commissions from Pulitzer prize-winners Steve Reich and Ellen Taafe Zwillich, Grammy-winner Libby Larsen, and Japanese master Toru Takemitsu, and famed collaborations with the likes of Canadian Brass, Kronos Quartet, and Richard Stoltzman, have created repertoire ranging from novelty ragtime and haunting African rhythms through award-winning improvised film music and ground-breaking compositions. NEXUS delivers a stunningly virtuosic spectacle of sound and rhythm.
Some of you were at our last Ulster Chamber Series performance two years ago with NEXUS, Prana and Paul Winter. It was a big smash! On Sunday, April 22nd it will be NEXUS alone with a ton of beautiful instruments, some of which were built for this event. We will be playing a wide variety of compositions, including works by Steve Reich, Pauline Oliveros and ragtime great George Hamilton Green. 3pm concert...tickets may be purchased at the door.
