The Arc Mid-Hudson will be holding a sealed bid auction on some of our retired fleet vehicles. This auction will be open to the general public.

Bidding will begin on September 3rd and conclude on September 6th.

Sealed bids will be opened and reviewed between September 9th and September 11th.

All participants will be contacted by September 13th alerting them of their bid status.


During the week of September 3rd to September 6th any person that is interested in viewing the vehicles can do so by appointment. Please call 845-338-6210 Ext. 1

All bids must be submitted by September 6th at the Transportation Department located at 1111A Flatbush Rd. Kingston, NY 12401. Between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

Flower Picking Season at The Farm. It was a great day to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Today we celebrated Lisa Mottsey's attainment of her NADSP C-II eBadge credential. The team also took this opportunity to surprise and recognize Michelle Murphy, not only for her own recent attainment of her C-III e-Badge credential, but also for all the work she does to champion the DSP credentialling opportunities offered here at The Arc Mid-Hudson.

Both of these ladies are an inspiration to all of us, for their commitment to learning and growing, and to advancing the best possible quality of supports to people.

Our folk from Drewville spent the day at the Maritime Aquarium. Looks like everyone had a great time.

We celebrated our beloved Joyce Rota today at Serendipity Day Hab for her 20 years of service at The Arc Mid- Hudson in Putnam County. We can always count on her to show up for us. Joyce makes everyone around her better just by her presence alone. We thank Joyce for all that she has provided to the individuals she has supported throughout the years and we wish her many more years with us.

Over these last 15 years, Apollo has brought a lot to The Arc Mid-Hudson and continues to do so. He has taken some of the folks on vacation, day trips, Dr.'s appointments and helped out when other programs are in need.

The Staff Development Dept had a great time at their "Creative Team-Building Event" at the CCAC!

The team chose a photograph that represents their vision of our team, divided up the photo into 8 equal parts, and each member of the team recreated their square onto a larger piece of paper, using whatever mediums they preferred. There was watercolor, acrylic, paper and glue, pastels, colored pencils and markers to work with. True to form, each of them worked intently on their own square to make it their own, but they checked in with each other to make sure everything would come together well at the end... and it did!

Great job, Dana Wood, Jodi Winecoff, Kathy Nichols, Michelle Murphy, Adrian Goldson, Tracy Coddington, and Chelsea Donlin! You are why the Staff Development program hums and thrives!

I a great way to be creative while staying cool on a hot summer day! Great job everyone who participated!

Congratulations to Michelle Murphy, DSP-III and Staff Development Specialist for achieving the DSP-II and DSP- III Micro credential and E-Badge Academy certification with a 4.0 GPA at SUNY Dutchess! This micro credential is part of the NYS Grant opportunity in partnership with NADSP and OPWDD. Although, Michelle does not work full-time in a DSP role currently, she continues to work on call as a DSP and she has 20 years of experience to draw from in supporting individuals receiving services to actualize their hopes and dreams. She has supported adults to build their lives in a way that accommodates their needs while celebrating their individuality. As a Local Administrator for the E-Badge Academy certification program, Michelle has also helped to guide other DSPs and FLSs toward professional certification and continues to pursue the DSP-C-III level of micro credential and E-Badge certification.
