I have to talk about this because I can’t let people keep spending money on lash extensions that are damaging their natural lashes, it breaks my heart. ⁣
⁣
The first picture shows a client who came to me unhappy with their current lashes. The person who applied these used pre made fans which is 100% ok, but they were not applied properly. They were applied to lashes that were too short/thin, some were stuck to multiple natural lashes, some pulling on the lash line, which ended up causing damage to some of her natural lashes. ⁣
⁣
I’ve been seeing a lot of this lately, but most of it is coming from unlicensed people who are “self taught” or took a quick online course & are now applying lash extensions from their homes.⁣
Yes these peoples prices are more than likely “cheaper” than mine or any licensed lash artists, but at the end of the day when you go to these people you’re more than likely paying for damaging lashes & a possible infection (which I’ve also seen). ⁣

In the second picture you’ll see one of my hand made volume fans that was properly applied & grew out beautifully, which I then removed & replaced with a fresh new properly placed fan. This is also why it usually takes us a couple hours for full sets, we are making sure you’re lashes are properly isolated & hand making every single fan to make sure it’s the right length & weight for your lashes!⁣

Yes lash extensions with a licensed lash artist in a spa/salon can be high priced, but you’ll get quality lashes that won’t be damaging. You’re eye & lash health are our TOP priority at OA. ⁣
Please do your research & make sure you’re lash artist is licensed & take a look at their work before booking!⁣
