Pickups are between December 1-20. If you want a craft for Christmas day, the paint-a-cookies are a good choice, they will stay fresh for many days. One of my favorite Girl Scout troops is bridging today. Done with brownies and now on to being big girl scouts! I'm proud of these girls.

A friend on the middle school ptsa pulled me out of cookie hibernation to say a very big THANK YOU to the teachers and staff at the beginning of this important appreciation week. Sunny rainbow llamas seemed just about right.

Who else has been through the wringer this fall? For us it has been a month full of one sick kid after another, urgent care visits, broken appliances, a little car accident, friendship explosion, and just plain one thing after another sucking up any kid-free cookie decorating time. I had high hopes this year to make holiday cookies - cookie cutters lined up ready to go! But the last few weeks have shown me it is just not happening this year. Everything will be fine, I just need to let a few things go so I can catch up and get my family ready for Christmas. Sadly, that means holiday cookies will have to wait till next year (when I'll have all kids in full day school!) This doesn't affect anyone who already has a custom order in for the next month. If you've already messaged me about cookies, I've still got you covered. I'm so thankful for all of you and really wish I could make hundreds of holiday cookies this year. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. And if you've had a rough last month too, I hope you find rest and health this weekend!

A flexible birthday kid had a theme in mind and we adapted the cookies to not copy character faces. Didn't they turn out so cute? Can you spot their theme?
