What a great way to end the summer months! The Mack's first Sunday, worship, baptisms, back to school prayer and BBQ! To God be the glory!

Start warm AND come to church, Sunday is Back to School BBQ following morning worship. We'll have a special prayer for students, parents, and teachers alike! Getting back into the fall rhythm of school is hard; however, its better when we do it together. It all starts at 10am with worship! See you then!

Due to reports of cooler weather and breezy conditions for Sunday, outdoor worship will be held indoors! We're still having baptisms, music, the Word, and lots of food for our Back to School BBQ - please bring your favorite sides little potato salad, macaroni salad, and pickled beets! (Maybe how easy on the pickled beets; but you get the idea) See you and your guests Sunday at Lakeside!

Next Sunday (Aug 25) is the last of our 2024 Summer Out Door Worship meetings! It's also our Back to School BBQ! Come, bring friends, and bring your favorite side dishes!!! Macaroni and potato salads - fruit salads - and even bags of chips! We have the meat (Hamburgers/Hot Dogs) covered. Sing, worship, ponder the spoken word of God, and enjoy it all under the canopy of creation God has given us! And remember - brings side dishes (even baked beans - they're good for the heart)! 🤣

What are these among so many? Come join us Sunday as we examine a very familiar story from the life and ministry of Jesus. Is it convenient to serve others? How can we respond to God when we, deep down, feel we have nothing to offer? Come and be encouraged! Join us and find hope, meaning, and purpose. Don't come alone, bring a friend! We'll see you Sunday starting at 9:30am for that Italian soda or latte you've been Jonesing! 10am for worship and Lakeside|KIDS!

Grace. God's grace in the person of Jesus, appropriated by faith alone, imparts new life to the believer! Grace changes everything. Our salvation is received and not achieved - all glory goes to God alone! At Lakeside we celebrate God's unmerited grace and encourage one another to pursue Jesus with our lives.

This Sunday at Lakeside, we're in the closing verses of John chapter 4. Real people like you are dealing with the real issues of life; is Jesus in the moment(s) with you? Let's consider that question and more this Sunday. Come be encouraged. Come see love. Come be refreshed in your soul. Don't come alone, bring someone who needs this with you!

Communion Sunday at Lakeside! Changing things up, we meet around tables to hear one man's story of coming to Jesus and change, pray together, and serve the elements of communion to one another. We thank God for all He's done for us through Jesus Christ His Son, today - we remembered together!

July's Outdoor Worship was wonderful! A marine layer of clouds rolled in just in time to keep us from frying in the sun! It was a wonderful morning of worship punctuated with prayer, singing, and the gospel - not to mention sharing lunch together.

Outdoor Worship tomorrow - July 21st! We're sunscreen, big hats, and bring side dishes for the BBQ to follow!!!

Italian sodas in a dazzling array of flavors as well as time tested lattes are waiting. You're invited to explore the Gospel of John with us and consider how God takes the mundane and makes it beautiful.

Late Wednesday night (Jul 3) a leak was detected in the lakeside KIDS main meeting and teaching room by Mykaela and Ethan. ServPro was called in and the damage was contained. We are so thankful for early detection! The leak was caused by a spigot on the main floor that leaked into the wall above kids area. Please pray for our Lakeside KIDS ministry team as they pivot to provide lessons and love to the children God brings to Lakeside.

After much anticipation, the Lakeside Youth held their Friday Night Premiere last night. The crowd was bustling, the popcorn was popping, and the Italian sodas were flowing. Thank you to the amazing students and leaders who helped pull off such a fun event! You can see their finished movie here.

First Outdoor Worship of 2024! Summer kick off worship and BBQ was a blast. Hebrews 10 reminded us, let us draw near to God, hold fast to our faith, and encourage one another to love and good works.

Join us this Sunday at Lakeside as we hear from Jake and Emily Smith from Word of Life Taiwan. They're going to share about their ministry to the people of Taiwan and how God is at work changing lives with His grace and love.
