The Minifig Shop
We are an independent LEGO retailer in downtown Kirkwood, Missouri, offering new and used sets, minifigures, bulk, and much more.
Our online store just launched, and we host birthday parties!
We took in just a few sets this morning. 🤩🤯 Anything strike your fancy?
Update on the castle and pirate figure project: the first large batch has gone up on the website! There’s some good stuff here across multiple subthemes. The next group will be up soon. (Side note: I dreamed about castle minifigures the other night. 😂)
We’ve also continued adding Ninjago figures, so check it all out at theminifigshop.com. Remember that all of these figures can be purchased in-store or online for pickup, or they can be shipped to you!
Have you noticed this little metal car we’ve had on display near the rare minifigures? If not, look for it the next time you’re in!
We’ve got a new Star Wars minifigure highlight for you today: Owen Lars, or Uncle Owen to Luke Skywalker. If you're on TikTok, be sure to follow us over there!

Our store is even fun from the outside! There’s always something to look at, whether it’s the cases and cases of prebuilt sets or the giant creeper and battle droid facing Kirkwood Road. But do come in! We’re open every day from 11-6.
Our first camp of 2024 starts one week from today! We are excited to welcome your kiddo/s this year. It’s not too late to sign up! We still have a few slots available in the June 17-21 session and one in the June 24-28 session, both of which are geared toward 9- to 12-year-olds. Camps run from 8 to 11 am, and the cost for the week is $250. Give us a call or stop by to register!
76271 Gotham City for your viewing pleasure. This is the first time it’s come in to us, prebuilt or otherwise, and it’s really impressive. So many little details!
New animals in the store! We already showed you the otters, but the others deserve a feature, too, because they’re so darn cute.
Have you ever seen these jumbo LEGO bricks? At 1 inch by 2 inches by 4 inches, they are three times the size of a standard LEGO brick and were produced only from 1964 to 1971 in the United States. We were able to get them in the box, which is pretty unusual. If you’d like your own little piece of LEGO history, we are selling them for $3 each.
Just for fun—taking the stormtrooper to the Parthenon in Nashville!
With the release of Barad-dûr coming up in a few days, let’s look at an earlier Lord of the Rings set in our first set highlight. Have a great weekend!

We’ve got a new video over on TikTok, this one featuring Peeves from the Harry Potter books. Despite being a fan-favorite character, he was left out of the movies. Good thing LEGO included him!

How are you all handling the cicada situation? It's...something. This video shows our building yesterday. We are happy to report that it does NOT look like this now. Also, we are open as usual today, so feel free to stop by while you're out and about on this gorgeous day!

Today we remember all the men and women who gave their lives protecting this country. Many National Park Service sites, from National Monuments to Historic Sites to National Memorials and Battlefields, are dedicated to remembering their sacrifice. May all of these sites continue to inspire for generations to come.
Welcome to summer! ☀️🕶️⛱️ 🏝️ Unofficially, of course, and we know there are still some kids in school until next week, but the summer mood is definitely here. And so are otters—new as of yesterday! Find them chilling in our $3 area.
We will be open regular hours (11-6) all through the Memorial Day weekend, so come and see us!
New project: diving into thirty pounds (yup, we weighed it) of castle and pirate minifigures and minifigure parts. This will take some time, so be on the lookout for lots of new (old) figures in the store and online in the coming weeks! 🏰🏴☠️
Today’s minifigure highlight is a Comic-Con exclusive: Deadpool Duck! If you’d like to see him in person, he is in the glass case with our other rare figures.

Every day is May the Fourth around here…
Morning! We have a new video up today. It’s our first minifigure highlight: Jedi Bob!
Also note that we have updated our TikTok handle to be consistent with our Instagram one, so if you have had any issues accessing our channel, that is probably why.
We haven’t had a prebuilt Starry Night in a minute, but one came in this afternoon, and it’s such a beautiful set! Also, the little Vincent van Gogh is adorable. We also have several of these sets new in box if that’s more your style.
The Minifig Shop is now on YouTube and TikTok! We'll be highlighting some of the cool things you can find in our store, from the minifigures that give us our name, to prebuilt sets and sealed sets, and anything else that catches our eye. We'll also be doing visits to check out some of our customers' LEGO collections. Stay tuned!
Find us on YouTube and on TikTok and give us a follow! Feel free to share as well. Thanks!

Ninjago plates are looking 🔥 after a restock, and there’s much more inventory to be found in our online store. Ninja, GO!
Our newest display, which debuted just in time for May the Fourth, is The Battle of Endor. Here’s a little tour of the action.
Thanks to Parker and Colin for creating this scene. They did such a great job! Come check it out any time the store is open. It will stay up for at least a couple of months.
Well, that was fun! Thank you so much for coming out for our May the Fourth event on Saturday. We enjoyed seeing everybody’s costumes, t-shirts, and overall love for Star Wars! Feel free to share photos, if you like. We’d love to see them!
Galaxy-sized thanks go out to the Star Wars characters who visited throughout the day and to The Graflex Shop for their lightsabers.
If you weren’t able to make it Saturday, decorations will remain in place for a while, so you will still be able to check those out. And make plans to join us in 2025! We’re already thinking of things we want to do next year.
The lightsabers from The Graflex Shop are really impressive. They light up and have sound effects and everything! Here until six!
Come on down!
It’s a whole Star Wars mood around here. We’ll continue setting things up in the morning, but here’s a preview. The central display is in place. We’ve put out some special sets and have a nice selection of rare minifigures. An impressive grouping of UCS prebuilt sets arrived this afternoon. In addition, we’ve been stocking our Star Wars figures over the past couple of weeks to get our cases looking their best.
And we have lots more available online! As of now, our online store contains about 800 Star Wars figures and 275 sets, far more than we have room to display in the regular store. Many of these are rare and premium listings. You can shop those items ahead of time for pickup at theminifigshop.com/s/shop or tomorrow during the festivities and take them home with you! Items can be browsed on our kiosk or your smartphone. Just pay at the register, and we will retrieve them while you wait.
Enjoy your Friday night. Throw on a Star Wars movie, get those costumes ready, and we will see you tomorrow starting at 11! May the Fourth Be With You.
With two days to go until May the Fourth, we’re sharing The Minifig Shop staff’s favorite Star Wars minifigures. Do you have a favorite one? Drop it below!

Welcome to The Minifig Shop!
After buying and selling LEGO toys online for eight years, in 2019 we decided to open a brick-and-mortar store. We found the perfect location in downtown Kirkwood, Missouri, and renovated the space to create a comfortable atmosphere for browsing. We carry thousands of minifigures (including licensed ones) as well as bulk bricks, sets, baseplates and accessories. In addition, there is a large table where customers can sit down and build with LEGO bricks, and a small table with a DUPLO inset is perfect for younger children. Parents can relax in the cozy seating area while their kids play.
The Minifig Shop is an independent, family-owned business. The proprietors are a husband- and-wife team and their nephew. We all hope you will visit us soon!
