22 years ago, The Salvation Amy responded to the 9/11 attacks with more than three million meals, and one million hours of service from nearly 40,000 officers, staff and volunteers in the nine months of recovery that followed.

22 years later, we still remember the victims who lost their lives, the first responders who were called to the scene, and the survivors whose lives were forever changed.

And we still pray for peace.
