He thinks that the former president probably would have made his VP announcement by now if President Biden wasn’t facing media scrutiny over his performance at the first presidential debate.

Mr. Kaplan points out that media reports seem to be ignoring a significant factor: If President Trump wins reelection, any of the three senators serving as VP would become the “heir apparent, and they’re running for president by year two” of his second presidency.

That could make former President Trump appear to be even more of a “lame duck” as a president who could not serve an additional term, Mr. Kaplan said. He doubts that would happen with Mr. Burgum, making him “the safer pick,” Mr. Kaplan said.

Whichever contender gets the former president’s nod, one factor is essential, Mr. Kaplan said. He needs to pick someone “who will do no harm” to the ticket.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Sales Associate to be responsible for closing leads and meeting sales goals through outbound calling and other sales techniques. Duties will include sales presentations and educating people about our programs, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. You will be undertaking a range of inside sales duties including outbound calls. You will also be responsible for customer service related duties when necessary.

Duties and responsibilities will include the following;

• Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
• Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
• Maintain a high volume of outbound sales calls, ensuring a high level of success
• Generate leads and build relationships planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
• Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
• Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
• Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
• Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
• Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
• Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilising product demos and presentations
• Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring


What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with great organisation and interpersonal skills who can bring their experience and communication skills into the company. We are looking for someone who is focused and goal-oriented, the ability to prioritise work and deadlines under pressure and someone who can contribute to continuous improvement. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is required.
