Early Voting ended last Friday.

Tomorrow is the BIG day! Do not forget to get out there and vote! We went the week before last and it was super fast and easy.

There are some key propositions on the ballot right now concerning:
School Vouchers
Border Policies
Property Taxes - Greg Abbott is trying to have these either lowered or eliminated! YAY!!!!

Also, we are of course voting for the next presidential nominees. Super important.

Locally we have tons of representatives, judges, justices and even our sheriff.

So plan your day tomorrow around getting this done! :)

In case you haven’t been paying attention, Houston we have another possible “hard freeze” that could last for up to 3 days starting on Sunday.

Important preparation if you are a homeowner:

1. Cover your exposed pipes around the exterior of your home. Pool noodles are great for this.

2. Plant covers - ugh!! My plants had just barely bounced back.

3. Keep all bathroom doors open to allow bathrooms warmth for plumbing.

4. Keep a very tiny drip from faucets going during the nights at our peak coldest hours.

5. Make sure your pantry is stocked with good non-perishable items. Beans, rice, ramen, tuna, spam and plenty of water.

6. Also, a great idea to keep emergency items stocked and ready to go. Batteries, flashlights, and first aid kits.
