Affordable, virtual design services for events & interiors - we all deserve designer quality.
One of my favorite kinds of clients are the ones that come to us with an idea already in mind 🤩🤩
This client knew she wanted this couch! & this ottoman!!
She just needed help designing the rest of the space that embraced her love of color, tackled the big blank wall in her living room, and kept in mind her rambunctious kiddos & pets!!
I love love love how simple, yet impactful this space turned out - what do you think?!

Photo dump featuring each of OV’s designer’s favorite rooms from last week!!
Imagine a house where you get to have all 4 of these rooms - I would never leave 🤤🤤
Which is your favorite?!

Kitchen before/afters will alwayzzzz have my heart
So when Madison texted me & asked if I wanted to help bc she knew they were my favorite?? Immediately yes 🤤🤤🤤
What do you think about this new kitchen/dining set up!! Personally? I’d like to move in tomorrow pls & thx 😋
Shy’s OV design work debut!!!!
This past week Shy had a client I have worked with in the past!! She had a mix of inspo & several of her grandmother’s paintings she wanted to incorporate into her guest bedroom 🥹🥹🥹
Her personal style leans more bright white, grandma meets costal, but her ACTUAL grandma’s painting style leaned a bit more moody! This mix of styles gave us a bit of a challenge, but I am soooo proud of how it turned out - AMAZING job Shy!!!
Side note - I WISH my grandma made beautiful landscape art like this?! Store bought, mass produced, fake art could neverrrrr!!
Ummmmmm so I’m drooling
Real life before & afters are some of my favorites to share and it’s been way too long since I have!!
This client came to us at first with some bright light modern inspo, then we switched it up a little bit & decided to add in a bit more contrast! In the end, she went with a combination of the two and man it is perfectttttt 🤤
I mean can we talk about her PERFECTLY she executed this?! I’m so impressed & proud of our work together 🥹🥹🥹
Hey hey hey - realized I posted updated headshots of Madison & Sarah and forgot to share my own!!!
I’m Mary - I’m a 24 year old business owner & virtual concept designer from East Tennessee!! My little business is about affordable interior design for all & for all affordable interior design!
I’m a Leo, a dog mom, a perfectionist, a believer, a wife, a friend, an only child, an entrepreneur, and much more. I’ve always been an art freak & have constantly made-over TV living rooms & movie sets in my head instead of focusing on the plot hehe
I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture & graduated about 2 years ago!! I always tell people I’m a baby in the design world & have much to learn, but I’ve been doing virtual for about as long as I’ve been out of school!
I love working with kind people, who keep in mind I’m human too (I’m literally just a 24 yo teenage girl ok)!! I want people to see me as a friend they trust to hear them out, fix what’s wrong, and lean on for advice (and sometimes the honest truth, when they ask lol)
If we’ve ever worked on a space together, stop by & say hi!!! If we haven’t, say hi anyway and let’s be friends!!
I love that this is my job! I love you for being here!!! 🤞🏼🥰🫶🏻🫵🏼🩵
From construction zone to dream kitchen 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This client came to us with several ideas in mind:
-Keep the existing walnut uppers
-Patch the existing wood floors OR explore a brick option?!
-New coffee bar area
-Try to keep everything in the same place to reduce cost & make the renovation process easier!!
What she got? Exactly that AND the confidence to move forward with all the awesome ideas she came to us with 🥳
Normally we need the darker cabinets on the lowers, with the lighter on top - what do you think about the vice versa version (say that 3x fast lol)??
DC: Sarah
Ummmm can you even believe this transformation???? 🤩🤩🤩 (also isn’t this the perfect emoji)
We have people ask frequently if we can help with playrooms/kids spaces - absolutely we can!! As long as you’re okay with having a portal to outer space in your house 😏
This client had 2 kiddos and a handful of specific requests for toy storage & fun seating/climbing to be considered when designing this space!! How do you think it went?!
DC: Madison
When asked to comment on her design, Madison said:
“Well personally I love it.” 🤣🤣
She specifically called out the beams that she and her client were able to add back into the space - they compliment the mid century modern style of the house & continue from the beam you can see outside of the living room windows!!
At the end she said “and then if you can just add the word ‘like’ probably 5 times” HAH
When your client’s Pinterest board leads you to your new favorite style 🤭🤭🤭
One day we were having our daily studio zoom & I was sharing screen because I needed pillow help - Madison said wait can you actually send me the link to that floral one? And that’s when I knewwwwww this room would be a good one 🤤🤤
Also, navy & black CAN be friends 🤝🏼 (and in this case, best friends)
DC: Madison
You guyssssss!!
The way I was SO excited to share this one with the client last week 😫😫
I LOVE when I get the opportunity to add in cabinets & reallyyyy change a space like we got to in this one!! This client came to me with inspo from her neighbor’s house, who had recently installed a coffee bar! She already had the idea of extending her kitchen cabinets over into the dining room & just wanted a little help in visualizing what that would look that!
Ive always dreamed of an appliances garage, so of course I had to show her that, as well as the extended cabinet version she originally considered!!
Which would you do?!
Okayyyyy all those fun colors?!
Sarah had the pleasure of working with this client on the living room in their new-to-them home and I’m obsesssssed with both versions!!!
I fear I would need to order everything in rev 1 AND rev 2 so that I could switch up the colors for every season - moody & neutral for fall/winter & bright blue for spring/summer.. who’s with me?!
Sare bear!!! The sweetest gal you ever did meet & the third part of this East TN dynamic trio 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
She’s the freshest design grad of our team & has a cool, calm, & collected demeanor PERFECT for creating a judgement free zone for all your design requests!
She was the first addition to the OV team - the true OG - and I hope she feels as valued as she is!!! For so long, she was the back bone of all things admin & has recently started to move into a full-time designer position, because she’s SO TALENTED at what she does. Which is AMAZING for all her happy clients and obviouslyyyyy her OV team 🥰🥰
Sarah is the dry humor of the group, knows how to make any shopping trip a success, has a contagious giggle, and an addiction for fun bevs - this girl drinks water like it’s going out of style.. and coffee.. 🤣
Madison & I agree on the fact that anytime ANYONE has ever hurt Sarah’s feelings, we are always 🤯😡🩼😡🤬👊🏻 because she’s truly the sweetest cutest person and literally how could you be mean to someone like her??
She teaches me to be more patient and to be clearer in my words, like her with clients and friends alike. I’ve learned from her that sometimes you don’t need to say much. Just listen. I’m thankful to get to teach her, learn from her, and be a part of her team.
She’s been making me a better business owner & designer for 8 months now that is trulyyyyyy priceless!!! She’s a friend & coworker to lean on & always shows up for me & OV when we need her - she cares about OV doing well as much as I do and that’s seriously irreplaceable.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever had the pleasure of working with Sarah, and if you haven’t.. what the heckkkk are you waiting for?????
Okay so story time with this client!! 🤣🤣
Her original form that she filled out about her space said 3 things:
- don’t want a beige/light color couch
- room doesn’t get much light so I don’t want dark blackout curtains
- I won’t use a reading chair, so let’s skip out on that
Sometimes we show you exactly what you THOUGHT you wanted to see & sometimes you realize you actually love the opposite of that instead 🤣🤣
That’s totally fine!!! And exactly what our design meeting is for - so we can work out all those tweaks & changes together (though typically not quite THIS different between revisions hahaha)
Can you guess which of these was my original design & which 2 were additional revisions the client & I created together?!
Which would you choose?!
Let me tell ya about my friend Madison!!!
She’s a go-getter, show stopping designer - she is beauty AND brains and now we get to enjoy her company & design skill FULL TIME!! Wooooooo hoooooooo!!! 🥳
Madison is my long time friend who I met while we were both in school for interior architecture - yes, she’s really been this good since the beginning!
I was once told to hire people who are better than you & Madison is that. She was always the classmate to beat, setting the bar astronomicallyyyy high (and thank god for that) but her sweetie-pie, people-pleasing attitude paired with ambition & raw talent always kept her humble yet triumphant - a truly dynamic mix to have as an interior designer 🔥🔥🔥
She makes me a better business owner and designer and that is trulyyyy priceless!!! She’s constantly coming up with new ideas & tweaks to make this process easier for you & consistently hitting projects out of the park - in summary, she’s the best thing since sliced bread ok?!
Raise your hand if you’ve ever had the pleasure of working with Madison, and if you haven’t.. what are you waiting for????
Let me tell y’all about my friend Emillie!!!
She’s a CO girl with the sweetest personality & a cutie little puppy dawg named Olive 😭
She’s a super cool brand new interior designer with a bachelors degree in the field & a knack for maximalist, colorful spaces!!
When she first applied for an OV position, I noticed her by her work in photoshop & the way she was able to masterfully match contrasting colors & patterns into one beautiful, maximalist, cohesive space - something I don’t think I’m so great at & was so excited to add to our team. Someone once told me to add people who are good at the things you’re not good at - that’s how you run a business & mannnn were they right!!
I LOVE working with her because she is alwaysssss open to all the little annoying tweaks I make (so sorry 🥹) and has incredibleee autonomy - in short, she makes my life AND yours easier & is a pleasure to have on our team!!!
This is literally just the tip of the iceberg about who Emillie is - isn’t she GREAT?!
Hey hey happy fridayyyyy!! 😋
So a couple of things I want to mention in this post:
I’ve been playing around this week with AI, and trying to figure out what prompts do and don’t work to get the kind of output that we need!!
My vision for AI at OV is to start integrating it into idea boards! So that with your idea board service, you get a customized board, customized AI image, design notes, and keywords to use in your search for more inspo!! (Because the idea board service isn’t literal, it’s really just a place to solidify your visions for your project!!)
Not only that, but I want to start generating lots of these images monthly or maybe even weekly? So that when you come to OV kind of at a loss for what kind of inspo you do love, you can go through our AI gallery and start to develop that personal style! Which can then in turn be used for other services, like staging & sourcing & concept image!!
something so important in the design field - in my opinion - is to never forget to continue learning. It’s so important that you learn to grow with the new tools that are being developed and advanced the further you go in your career path! And I think AI is one of those things that isn’t going anywhere any time soon, so it’s something I want to start to incorporate into our processes at OV!
What do you think? Are you excited or interested in this for idea board services? Do you think AI is a total waste of space? Do you see it taking over the world? (Pls say no to that last one bc this anxious girly can’t think about that hahahaha)
Talk about a DREAM TEAM 🤩🤩🤩
And now we have the professional headshots to prove it!! Believe it or not, we’re actually from opposite ends of the country, so we sadly couldn’t get together to take these photos, but with the help of .visuals & our favorite Adobe software, we were able to get our little band together for our first ever group photo 🥹🥹
OV is about helping you, the average, normal person, because that’s what we are too! We’re trying to help people understand that this field is NOT designated only for the wealthy, the polished, or the “in-style” & “on trend”. This business is about bringing YOUR vision to life, obtaining your goals, and finally reaching that light at the end of the tunnel.
I (Mary) am so grateful to have made so many friends on this journey - client & coworker - and just seriously cannot express how crazy it is to be sharing this post. AND how proud I am of this little team!!!
This week’s carousel post is dedicated to the spaces we do less frequently (but looooooove doing!!): kitchens, baths, and outdoor settings!
Lately Shae has been the lucky winner of several kitchen & bath clients & the rest of us are always so jealous!!! 🤣🤣
Which of these are you loving?!

This week’s post is dedicated to:
SMALL SPACES CAN REFLECT YOUR INSPO TOO!!
All of these beautiful designs are by Shae & this past week she was working on small but mighty spaces that had COMPLETE transformations!
Just because you live in a rental doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful space.
Just because you have a “small” budget doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful space.
Just because you have pieces you HAVE to keep doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful space.
Just because you have kids & pets doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful space.
Just because you can’t paint or change the floors doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful space.
Just because you live in a studio or one bed apartment doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful space.
Back again with another suuuuper moody & oh so cozy bedroom design by Emillie!!
If you’ve been wondering how it’s possible to achieve the moody primary oasis of your Pinterest board dreams without painting the walls or changing the floors… this is for you!!
Extra awesome added bonus: the ultimate blackout curtains 😎
Today we’re sharing something a little different.
So often, we’re posting about those “wow-factor” rooms that are so interesting to click from before to after because of the huuuuuge changes we made! Like new floors, or color drenching, or starting from scratch with a new build home.
Sure these projects are fun, but we actually also love helping out with the spaces where it’s just about adding finishing decor, switching curtains, or finding the right pillow combination!!
SO many of our clients come to us with a rental space, or tell us they can’t paint or change ceiling fixtures, want to keep their existing sofa, or love bright white inspo but it’s not realistic because of kids/pets!!
This describes me exactly - I’m not in a place right now where I could start completely over with a $10,000 budget (even though that would be SO fun hahaha!) We don’t expect you to be there either!!!
The point is, that’s SO fine & SO normal!!!!! OFC we can work with existing pieces, OFC we can work with smaller budgets, OFC we can do a little rearranging and make things feel completely different!!!
So today I’m sharing a few spaces where we were asked to keep a majority of the existing space the same & work with what we had/add a few new finishing touches to marry the client’s space with their inspo!!
Don’t you think these small changes make HUGE impacts?!
Bragging on Shae so big today because just LOOK at this after!!!
I know how helpful it is to see your space all planned out & see all those products together, but it still shocks me every single time just how close we’re able to get things before you everrrrr even hit add to cart!!!
This multi-purpose space had a handful of items we needed to incorporate, and several items we needed to source!
Shae was able to find a new layout to better suit the function of the room, find a real leather loveseat, semi-custom accent chairs, along with decor, lighting, AND rugs all within a $5,000 budget 🥳🥳🥳
Order of photos:

Inspo - NOT OUR WORK
Inspo - NOT OUR WORK (2)
Okay I KNOW I say this all the time - but if I could live here I WOULD!!!
I’m so excited to get to purchase a home of my own one day & recently Cade & I have been considering what the options are!! Build? Flip? Renovate? Family commune? How do we get it started? Wedding venue?? (Kidding but kinda not hahahaha)
because of this, I’ve been LOVING when my clients show me how fun it can be to renovate with JUST a little bit of paint! In this space, we didn’t touch the natural wood trim, the fireplace, or the carpet!! We just switched up the paint & it’s giving that yummmyyyyy cozy warm amber-esque (but make it a smidge more modern, which is literally SO ME UGH) vibe!!
We had room for a 5 person sectional, velvet swivel chair, AND still had a small transition space complete w bench & plant right under the stairs (talk about the perfect little nook to throw down bags/shoes as you walk in the door!)

What do you think!?
Y’all.
A moment of silence for this ABSOLUTELY phenomenal design that miss Emillie delivered this past week - HOLY COW
One of the things I loved most about Emillie & her portfolio was the way she attacks maximalist designs - y’all THIS IS HER JAM!!!
When she sent me this design for approval, jaw hit 👏🏼 the 👏🏼 floor 👏🏼
I mean come on. The disco balls in the bowl??? 🪩🤤🫶🏻
