Spark's assistive technology equipment is used for assessment and training, and some devices may also be available for loan.

Spark's History
Spark (originally called the East Tennessee Technology Access Center) was started in 1988 by a group of parents, adults with disabilities, business people and service providers in the community who held an uncommon belief in the power of technology to help people with disabilities reach their goals. Since 1988, Spark has provided a wide range of assistive technology services to thousands of people with disabilities, teachers, therapists, other service providers, and area businesses. Spark works with people with disabilities of all ages and all types of disabilities, and no one is denied services based on ability to pay, age, type of disability, race, religion, or s*x.
