All Pellissippi State campuses are closed currently to all faculty, staff and students other than essential personnel, and there are no in-person services available until Monday, Jan. 25.

Attention, Students: Put Your Laptops Away Researchers Pam Mueller and Daniel M. Oppenheimer found that students remember more via taking notes longhand rather than on a laptop. It has to do with what happens when you're forced to slow down.

Our Director of Student Life Kim Thomas-LaRue was a beacon of love and kindness in our community, and she will be missed by many. Her family will host a celebration of life in her honor this Saturday, April 20, from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. in the Goins Building College Center on the Hardin Valley Campus. This is an informal event—at her request, “no tears, no black, all joy.”
