Corner Lounge Knoxville
Open Tuesday- Friday at 11am and 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
There is no single language that has ever historically been spoken by all Scots. “You're a wee scunner!" is usually said with a touch of impatience, and translates to “You're a little whiner/nuisance.” Corner Lounge customers know not to be wee scunners. The koozie is at the Inverlea Guest Hiuse in Ayr (pre-Celtic word meaning "watercourse" or "strong river"), town on the southwest coast of Scotland. Ayr was established as a Royal Burgh in 1205 and is the county town of Ayrshire. Towards the south of the town is the birthplace of Scottish poet Robert Burns. Show us your koozie!
What an incredible night! Knoxville ROCKS! And the supportive environment the bands and artists have for each other is uplifting. Thanks for the pics, Sara—one of the badasses in Mercy Lights
The gnome, a mythological creature and diminutive spirit in Renaissance magic and alchemy, was introduced by Paracelsus in the 16th century and widely adopted by authors including those of modern fantasy literature. In this Wine Whiskey Wednesday, ($5 Tullamore, Paddy’s, or Ha’Penny Irish Whiskeys), the gnome is here for a book-signing. Garry Menendez ASLA Landscape Architecture is signing his book, A Home for your Gnome, from 6-8 today at the Corner. Parking is free for our customers but you MUST start the process in the lot and then scan the code inside. Show us your koozie!

On this rainy (thank goodness!) weekend, appreciate the view from New Harbor, Maine, a small scenic coastal village in the town of Bristol. In 2019, the town of Bristol, and in turn New Harbor, was a finalist in the Reader’s Digest award for “America’s Nicest Place.” Those readers have never been to the Corner Lounge…or maybe they have! Show us your koozie!
