We got an exciting week ahead y’all so I’ll get right to it.

10/16- is back with her monthly Patio Watercolor class! It’ll start around 7pm and there are some open spots so come on down and try to snag one of the last tickets!
10/17- returns for their monthly reading series that will be headlined by two featured guest and followed by an open mic! Sign ups for the open mic start at 7pm and are limited to 10-12 people.
10/18- Come on down to see the newest slushy we whip up this weekend before we retire our machine for the season at the end of October.
10/19- We’re proud to host .deacon and for a concert this Saturday at 7pm with a portion of ticket proceeds going towards helping those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Hope everyone got some nice rest after the Morgan Wallen Invasion this past weekend and is ready to rock into this new week with us.
Starting this week we’ll be doing Happy Hour on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-6pm. All draft pints will be $2 off!

Wednesday 9/25: is back with Live Band Karaoke! They’ll be rocking out from 7-9pm so come on down and sign up for your chance to be in the spotlight for only $7!
Thursday 9/26: Bring on down those records and join us for vinyl night! It’s simple; you bring your record, we’ll play it, and you get $1 off your beer! Sounds like fun.
Friday 9/27: Tune in tomorrow for hopefully an exciting last minute announcement!
The Weekend 9/28-29: come on down during UT’s bye week and grab a slushy or beer to cool off while you check out the glass blowing over at

Wednesday 9/18 sees the return of patio watercolor classes! All available spots have been signed up for but stop by if you’d like to try and get your name on the list for next month!
Thursday 9/19 will be a continuation of our Vinyl night series where you bring in the records, we’ll spin them, and you get a $1 off your beers!
Friday 9/20 get your tickets, grab a beer, and come see perform in our beer garden from 8-10pm, doors open at 7pm.
Saturday and Sunday 9/21&22 come on down this weekend and enjoy the newest seltzer slushy flavor and watch some college ball or NFL with us or chill out on our back patio.

We got a busy week here at Pretentious with a new IPA dropping this week and tons of events on the calendar that we hope to see you all at!

Wednesday: This Wednesday, come on down for a free panel put on by our friends that starts at 6pm!
Thursday: Join us Thursday 7-9pm for the start of fall reading series here at Pretentious. An open mic session will follow the readings and sign ups start at 7pm so show up early!
Friday: You won’t want to miss the show will be putting on this Friday. Doors open at 7pm, tickets $15 advance, and $20 at the door. Visit for tickets
Sunday: Wake up early and come on down to enjoy a delicious brunch put on by Melanie at .knox Brunch will be served from 11-3pm or until supplies run out!

8/7: We are lucky to be hosting the inaugural Dinner Club for .knox at their new location here at Pretentious Brewery tonight starting at 6:30! Tonight’s cuisine is Mediterranean, will be served family style (all you can eat), and will consist of 4 courses. Nab a spot by DM’ing them or take your chances and come by tonight!

8/8: Thursday will be vinyl night as it always is! Come listen to us spin some groovy albums or bring your own album and we’ll play it and give you a dollar off your beers.

8/9: Come join us and this Friday night to enjoy the next Knoxville Coalition Music Show featuring a lineup of local artist starting at 7pm!

8/10&11: This weekend .knox will be serving up some hot, delicious brunch from 11am to 3pm featuring vegetarian and vegan options!

Luke made a batch of Cherry Root Beer Slushee and it’s kinda mindblowingly good.

It’s an itty bitty batch cause that’s all the ingredients we had, so it’ll prob run out this afternoon. But I’m 100% gonna order some more stuff to remake it in a couple weeks
