Jared, our Music Director, brings a rich musical heritage from Detroit, the home of Motown Records. With years of experience playing in church, he masterfully blends gospel with contemporary music, creating the perfect soundtrack for our show. 🎼🎹

Meet Mrs. Jeanine Fuller ( ) a phenomenal vocalist whose influences from legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Prince, and Stevie Wonder will transport you to the warm, soulful sounds of the past. This classically trained operatic mezzo-soprano is sure to bring the down-home feel ‘The Revival’ embodies. 🎙️🌟

And last, but CERTAINLY not least, let’s talk about Ishmael Nehemiah (), our inspiring lyricist who truly embodies the spirit of ‘revival’. After a life-changing car accident last summer that left doctors saying he wouldn’t be able to walk, Ishmael’s incredible resilience and passion for music have brought him back stronger than ever. Not only will he perform with our music department, but he’ll also WALK the runway, defying all odds! 🕺🏾🎤 (Now, tell me THAT’s not a testimony!)

Not just any church, but the church with the wooden floors, tambourine playin’ saints shoutin’ to the sounds of the band and praise team, and dinner served in the fellowship hall after service…

Well, The Revival is a celebration of just that! This fashion event, taking place in a historic church built in the 1880s, is my way of paying homage to the fashion, culture, and community of Black church in the 50s, 60s, and 70s!
We’ll be paying respect to the stories of our lineage through, fashion, music, art, and food and I CAN’T WAIT to share this with y’all!

This has been almost 5 years in the making and we our models and crew will be coming from far and wide to help me bring this vision to life!!!
