Dachshunds hold a special place it my heart and especially because this story is too sweet: Lyndsi had Samson for 16.5 years. He passed two years ago this month, and her and Colin have missed him so much that they decided they would be open to opening their hearts to a rescue that needed a home. Lyndsi follows Dachshund rescue of South Florida and about a week or two before the wedding she got a call that Sully was approved, and Colin bought a round trip ticket and flew to South Florida for the day and swooped her up. She hasn't left their sides since. Lyndsi said she can't believe Colin met another lady down the aisle before her. 💕🥹 Swipe to see a photo of sweet Sampson 👉🏻
