Have you had a pizza cone? They are delicious, cheesy goodness packed into a portable cone shape. Mario's Pizza Cones will be at Vestival 2023 and we can’t wait to have one!

Vestival Vendor Registration — Vestal Arts and heritage association Vestival is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine. Please bring your own tents, canopies, tables, chairs, and sunscreen. No refunds will be given in the case of inclement weather.

VESTIVAL IS HAPPENING! The rain is gone and we are here 11am - 4pm. Tim Woody is kicking us off with live music. We have yummy food, awesome vendors, and even a great children’s tent with face painting.

Don’t forget, Tri-Star Arts is pleased to welcome Vestival visitors to see the new exhibitions on view within the Candoro Marble Building, featuring work by Vanessa Mayoraz and Quynh Lâm. The art studios of Casey Fletcher and Risa Hricovsky will also be open to the public.

TODAY IS THE DAY! VESTIVAL IS HERE!

Please join us, rain or shine, for this wonderful day full of art, music, food, and fun from 11am - 4pm on the grounds of the Candoro Marble Building. We have plenty of tent and building coverage for any showers that popup today.

FOR PARKING: We recommend parking at Sustainable Future Center, the Boys and Girls Club, Immanuel Baptist (closest), or Vestal Methodist Church. We also have a shuttle running from 11am - 4pm to assist with transport (see photo).

Don't forget, the Sustainable Future Center is also having a Maker's Market right down the road, and is a drop-off point on our shuttle route. Catch both events in one day!

Welcome, Tim Woody!

Tim values bringing his audience novel encounters with beauty and lyricism, with elegance and pathos. Tim is an avid backpacker with around four-thousand miles of wilderness foot travel, and he strives to share music that cultivates the peace and dynamic presence of the backcountry. Tim graduated with his Bachelor’s of Music—Composition from Belmont University School of Music in 2014.

CALLING ALL PICKERS - We are excited to announce the will be hosting this year's "Picker's Tent" at Vestival!

There will be two formal pickin' hours: 11:30am for beginner pickers and 1:30pm for advanced pickers. Bring your instrument and jam THIS Saturday, May 7th at Vestival!

The East Tennessee Bluegrass Association strives to promote and advance traditional bluegrass music through education, outreach and community for all generations. Support and aid other groups which advocate bluegrass music and to foster a multi-generational community to learn and grow musically.

Dragonfly Aerial & Circus Arts Studio is RETURNING TO VESTIVAL!

Come see this awe-inspiring group perform Saturday, May 7 at Vestival! They will be taking the stage at 1:30pm and again at 2:30pm on the Vestival grounds at the Candoro Marble Building.

Dragonfly Aerial Arts Studio is run by artists and trained instructors who both teach and perform. Started in 2010 by 6 local aerialists, Dragonfly offers the Knoxville area classes in the circus arts for everyone of any fitness level AS WELL AS the opportunity to book trained and passionate professional performers for festivals and special events!

VESTIVAL 2022 ARTIST LINEUP

Welcome, Zach Russell!

Zach Russell is a singer-songwriter from Caryville, Tennessee. Growing up in a small town tucked away in the Appalachian mountains, Zach learned to play music working through the Red Book Hymnal in the band at a Southern Baptist Church. The notes of the supernatural and yearning still weave their way through his first person tales of pain and loss.

Zach can also be found playing guitar for the Alex Leach Band, which will be playing festivals all over the US & Canada this summer.

Vestival is Saturday, May 7, 11am - 4pm. Zach Russell will be on stage starting at 2pm. Be sure to come catch the awesome music happening the entire Vestival!

DID YOU KNOW the Sustainable Future Center is hosting their April Makers Market + Music RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD from Vestival?

Vestival, held on the Candoro Marble Building grounds, is just a short 5 minute walk from the Sustainable Future Center. You can hit both markets at the same time on the same day!!

Swing by the Sustainable Future Center’s Makers Market and Music event, Saturday May 7, 10 AM - 2 PM. Enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with music, food, kids' activities, a permaculture demonstration site, and of course, creative things made by local people. Tours of SFC will be offered at 11AM, 12PM and 1PM. Learn more about all things permaculture from solar panels to chickens.

VESTIVAL 2022 ARTIST LINEUP

HEADLINER, Tennessee Sheiks!

It is hard to categorize the Tennessee Sheiks. Collectively, the band represents the diversity of American roots music. Each player is expert in his or her instrument as well as several being music composers. Energy and fun-loving style shows in the Swing, Bluegrass, Blues, Alt-country, Jazz, or original material they play. You can see the enjoyment in the exchange and synergy that music generates making it a joy to hear them play.

Nancy Brennan Strange's effervescent vocals, fast driving instrumentals, instrumental solos that make you want more, and a really big sound all add up to a musical treat.

The 2022 Tennessee Sheiks are Nancy Brennan Strange - guitar, vocals, Don Cassell - mandolin, guitar, dobro, and vocals, Don Wood, guitar, lap steel guitar, Barry "Po" Hannah - guitar’s, Michael Crawley - blues harp, vocals, Marcus Shirley - piano/keyboards, Vince Ilagan - bass, vocals, Ken Wood - percussion.

Vestival is Saturday, May 7, 11am - 4pm. The Tennessee Sheiks will be on stage starting at 3pm to close out our 2022 Vestival. Come catch this crowd-favorite performance!
