Welcome Joe Ley, Diaconal Intern
Yesterday, we welcome Joe Ley as our new intern at Peace. Joe will be with us through February/March 2025, teaching, preaching and supporting our ministries. His office is located in Room 8. We are glad you’re here, Joe!

We are excited to welcome intern Joe Ley to Peace Lutheran. It was a great day of worship and getting to know one another. God bless you Joe and this season of learning.

1817 items collected for Cedar Bluff Elementary School. 1817 items delivered! We're thankful for everyone who donated, and the awesome staff at CBES who received the snacks. These snacks will make a difference in the lives of kids in our neighborhood. Principal Booher will be with us at Peace on Sunday, Sept 15th and will have more to share about the school and how these snacks are a blessing.

Family Promise was so much fun this week! Blessings to the families involved as they continue their journey.

Find out on Sunday in the Faith in Action class meeting at 9am in the fellowship hall. We'll explore what an ELCA Deacon is, how they prepare for ministry, and what they do in seminary. We're excited to receive a diaconal intern starting September 1st.
