I had to skim the ceiling with mud to take care of cracks and unsightly imperfections. The bathroom built-in shelf had a crazy stain and rotted wood that I was able to cut out and repair.

One room: $250. Includes small hole repair, caulking any visible seams, and two coats on walls. (Price varies if you want to add ceilings, trim, or doors, but will give discounted prices on those services too.)

I forgot to share this one. We did dark doors in this house instead of the traditional white. I think it turned out nice, and definitely made the living room look much cleaner and updated.

Updating your paneling with paint is definitely an easier and cheaper way to go, but there are definitely important steps to take to make sure the paint lasts. A good bonding primer is your best friend. I used Sherwin Williams Extreme bonding primer and it works great!

This is one of those projects that you love to be a part of. Why? Because they went for it and chose that deep green for the living room and it was such a mood! The little laundry room was wallpapered, so it took some extra love and care. These customers were amazing to work with and I had such a great time with this project.

Man. In the right location, this could be beautiful.

In this set, the master bath was painted blue, and the other rooms were only primed and never painted, so the same gray was used in the master bed and the breezeway, but a slightly darker gray was used in the spare bedroom, hallway bathroom, and back hall and bathroom. I painted the doorway from wood to white. 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of semi-gloss after some sanding.

And that’s the complete job. Took me 22 days!! Phew!!! Another great project in the books!!

I hope these make sense but I put gray on the walls (he bought the paint, so I don’t have any codes or names but if you like, I can found out!). One wall we did two colors and he will be putting decorative moulding at the bottom and painting it all white to match the rest. This is the main area of the house. Bedrooms and bathrooms will be in my next post!

These next few posts will be from the same job, but I wanted to break them up so it’s not overwhelming to look through. The fireplace and kitchen cabinets. This was my second time painting brick, and let me tell you, it’s some work! But it turned out very nice. Wait til you see the walls….

Nice quick job to brighten up the walls and make the color uniform throughout the house. The hall was very dark so hard to really see, but I did white trim, Morning fog on the doors and Lazy gray on the walls.

Hey folks! Just a little tip. If you are planning to hire someone to paint for you, please don’t buy the paint yourself. As professionals, we know which brands to use for specific jobs and will get the best paint for the situation. We generally can get you better paint at a lower cost too.

Companies want to make a lot of money so they tell you that it’s “one coat coverage” and then charge an arm and a leg. I’m going to put two coats on most likely, so let’s talk about paint first and I can save you a lot of money while getting a great product that will be durable and beautiful without breaking the bank.

Another quick little project for my awesome customers. We went from that dark green to Sherwin Williams color Steamed Milk.

The first of many jobs at this house. We took the yellow tan and replaced it with a cool gray. Freshened up the trim and baseboards. (More photos from this job as I complete them.)
