The Way Youth Group
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: 5th Quarter is back!
Come enjoy free food, a place to hang out with your friends and have a great time, this Friday @ Bible Baptist Church from 10PM-12AM!
So proud of our students who led the service for Youth Sunday! As we've walked through 1 & 2 Timothy this past summer, it's an encouragement to watch your faith and relationships grow. Continue to be a light in your schools, family, & community.
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12
Jesus is a light for us in our darkest places. He shows us where to go, and He alone is our path to salvation.
Invite your friends and plan on joining us in April for food, games, a new series, community, & worship!
Jesus is the Light!
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” - John 8:12
He is Risen! Through Jesus we can live life to the full through Him & His love for each of us. Now that's something to celebrate!
Today, on Good Friday, we remember that Jesus loves us so much that he allowed himself to die in our place.
There is no greater love than the love of Jesus for you. He knows us fully and still loves us completely. Through His love, we are set free!
You may be amidst your darkest moment. Even while searching for answers and hope, you're never alone. Jesus has experienced the darkness and is with you.
If you're looking for a place for you and your family to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus, bring your families and come join us at First Congo! Our service begins at 9:30 AM and we'd love to remember and celebrate Christ's Resurrection with you!
It's important to choose friends who encourage you to love one another, lift each other up, and push each other to pursue and follow Jesus.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Grab a friend and come for a fun night of food, games, & community for 5th Quarter hosted at One Church.
Friday, March 15th | 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM | 2734 S Washington St.
There's a lot of opportunities to gather together this March! We hope you and your friends will join us!
When you share your story, Jesus is the main character. You're simply pointing to who Jesus is and what He's doing or has done in your life.
Growing your relationship with God includes discovering the hobbies, skills, personality, and spiritual gifts you've been given. Use those gifts this week!
Showing up to connect with Jesus may feel difficult, but these regular moments of friendship and connection profoundly transform our lives.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Grab a friend and join us for a fun night of pizza, games, & community.
Friday, February 23rd | 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM | 505 West Mulberry Street
Remember, Jesus invites everyone to partner with him to change the world. Let's continue running back to Him in all of our lives.
We saw that our purpose may seem elusive, but Jesus helped His disciples understand their purpose and He will help us find ours too.
Remember, friends encourage each other to search deep beneath the surface and discover who God says they are and are becoming.
In case you missed it, we learned from Philip the importance of being the friend to help others come to know Jesus.
John 1:43-49
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Grab a friend and join us for an Ultimate Game Night at the Downtown Crossroads Campus on Friday, January 26! You won't want to miss it!
Remember, God loves you! And this frees us up to live from affirmation, not for affirmation. We can live from the love of God, not for the love of God.
In case you missed it, we saw that Jesus's example and God's words are the best guide to help us discover who we are.
Remember, when we remain curious about what's below the surface, it allows God to show us who we are.
In case you missed it, we saw that it takes effort to name what's happening within us and saw what happens when we bring our curiosity to God.
