Easton's Eden
New cut flower farm! There's beauty everywhere!
We are currently digging up our dahlia tubers. Most look really really good! So we're optimistic for our dahlia rows for the next year! We hope we can do around 800+ plants.
The growing season for us is over, but the seed collecting has begun!
We are collecting a little bit of everything, but we have an excess of Love Lies Bleeding Amaranth, zinnia mixed seeds, different kinds of celosia, and gomphrena!! If you're interested in purchasing and trying some of these seeds for yourself just message us and we will get them to you!
A minimum order of $12, please. That includes free shipping in a bubble mailer with tracking. All seed packets are $4.
You can come pickup your order if you like, as well.
The season is about finished. We're sad to see it go, but we're excited about the prospects for next year.
I'm letting our dahlias go to seed to see if we may have anything exciting for next year. If you're interested in purchasing seeds just message us and we will see what we can do. Sorry, we will not be selling any tubers as we do not know exactly what and how many we will have for the next year.
Enjoy and have a blessed day!
All set up at the Madison Grant Elementary PTO event. Come out and shop and enter the raffle! 201 S Vine St, Fairmount
Playing around with what I could find in the yard. Turned out pretty good!
The weather destroyed a few of our dahlias yesterday, but we still have a ton of beauty in our field!
This dahlia with a single white petal is stunning. Just amazing to see. It's amazing how flowers can make a person feel inside.
I picked a couple of other dahlias today and a few honeynut squash from the garden. I can't wait to see how good these honeynuts taste. They are only 4-5 inches in length.
Blessed!!
Our very first market was a success! We had a great time and met some of the friendliest vendors! Blessed!
Easton had a great time!
We are busy prepping for the Hodge Family Festival this weekend! Cut lots of filler flowers today before the wind.
We harvested some nice Love Lies Bleeding Amaranth this evening. Such a strange and interesting flower. They can get huge, too!
We were also practicing setting up our booth for this weekend's market in Alexandria. How does it look? We think it's awesome!
Blessed!
Our zinnias are absolutely incredible! We can't wait for this next weekend at the farmer's market in Alexandria!!
We took time off from cutting flowers today to pick a few maters. We still haven't picked any of the cherry tomatoes. All of the plants are still ripening and producing like crazy! Oh, and he ate the last ear of sweetcorn.
Reggie also made an appearance!
Elwood friends! We will have a booth (our first!!!) at the Hodge Family Farm Festival next weekend. Come check us and all the vendors out. Shop local with us!

Dusk on the farm...so peaceful!
Yesterday's dahlia cuttings. Nowhere to put them.
So, no dahlia cuttings for today.
Not a bad problem to have, having flowers all over the house.
