Join The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra & Kokomo Symphony Youth Orchestra for a fun evening in the park sponsored by the City of Kokomo! ON Aug 10 at 8 p.m. at Foster Park you can see The Piano Men: Generations! This concert celebrates the musical influences of Billy Joel and Elton John brought to you by the Father-Son duo & amazing pianists, Terry & Nick Davies. They will be joined by our KSO musicians. Come out and listen to the concert and rock out to some old-time rock and roll!

Mayor Moore honored Maestro Jay Gephart at the concert in Highland Park on July 24th.

Tonight's "Make 'Em Laugh" was truly an appropriate theme for the concert, and this is how the concert ended with the song "Pie in the Face Polka." Our announcer, Curt Alexander, was a great sport and took a pie to the face from Artistic Director Jay Gephart during the band's encore of the song. And, he put on his glasses, asking the crowd to rise for the playing of the National Anthem. It was a light-hearted evening with fun songs. Thank you for joining us!

Don't miss our Big Band Night concert at 7:30 tonight (6/26) in Highland Park. (rain is supposed to clear off by then). We had a great rehearsal last night. Rhythm section: Tim Edward's, piano; Bethany Robinson, bass; Art Reiner, drums. Also, a rehearsal view from the trumpet section.

Don't miss the Kokomo Park Band's annual Big Band Night this Wednesday, June 26th at 7:30 pm in Highland Park (Kokomo High School Auditorium is the rain location)!

Led by the legendary Dr. Mo Trout (retired Director of Purdue Jazz Bands), the concert features a mix of KPB members and some of the finest jazz performers from the Midwest. Vocalist Cherresa Lawson will join the band for classic tunes like "HoneySuckle Rose" and "Only You."

The evening celebrates the music of Count Basie, a true innovator in the world of swing and big band jazz. The concert is free and family-friendly, with coloring materials for kids and refreshments provided. Come hear timeless classics and enjoy an evening of fantastic music!
